WebShopApps Product Matrix 14 14Took a bit of trial and error, but it works This is an excellent extension that is very powerful. Because of that, configuring it took me a day of trial and error. Their support wiki is full of useful examples and instructions, but the sheer number of possibilities (and their similarity) makes it difficult to sort through which options to use. Generally the wiki is well organized, but they could benefit from a few more textual descriptions along with their example CSV files, with a situational example of what each option is used for. My one slight criticism (and what finally got it working for me) was that the wiki did not specify the correct setting for "Used in Product Listings" on the Attribute setup, saying only that it should not be changed. If you have lots of varied shipping rules, then this extension is definitely worth the time and money. April 13, 2013This is not only a very powerful extension but their support is also first class. I had very complex shipping scenarios but was able to have everything handled from a single spreadsheet using this extensions with the volume matrix add on. The support team was always helpful and they all knew what they were talking about. The extension has been running very stable since the last update (absolutely no problems!) and any reported bugs in earlier version were basically fixed overnight. So, I just want to say that the product matrix module worked perfect on my multi-store setup of Magento Enterprise. I had a couple of unique issues which their customer support helped me work through and they were really quick with responding. That's all, I just wanted to give credit where credit is due. November 12, 2012so far, so good. i've been using the product matrix in tandem with the residential/commercial selector extension. i need it only for a pretty simple task, at least so far, and it has performed exactly as described. i ran into a problem with duplicate rows and in less than an hour it was resolved by a guy named josh via chat on the lower right corner on their website. great customer service, good product, would recommend. October 31, 2012I needed to tackle a very difficult formula with many variables that were different for multiple product groups, and this worked out perfectly. It's an amazing shipping extension. Is does so much more than I could image when first reading the overview, because the algorithms enable lots of features. Plus the support was excellent and the people were very kind. Thanks. For example 2 womens size small fit in one small shipping package, but only 1 mens extra large. 2 womens size medium have to be shipped in a medium package, but still only 1 mens extra large can fit. 3 womens size small can fit in a large package, but only 2 mens size extra large. And there are MANY more options on top of these examples.
Can i create an excel spreadsheet and upload to the extension to add initial product matrix, easily update and make corrections?
