Absolute Pricing for Custom Options
Description
Absolute Pricing allows you to add a fixed one off; one time / charge / fee to your product via custom options price-type.
Absolute Pricing is independent of product / item quantity allowing for extra fees / charges, works with tier pricing, simple and configurable products, allows for multiple one off fees / charges per product.
The Absolute Price is added to the final price at checkout and not to the base price.
Current supported versions: Community Editions 1.7.0.2 through 1.5.0.1 and Enterprise Edition 1.12
How it Works
Lets say we have an umbrella at $37.75 (base price) with options to change color at no charge and an option to add your logo (silk screened/printed) at a cost of $1.75 per umbrella, here you would want to charge the customer a one off charge/fee for tooling (so you can print the logo), this is where the absolute pricing for custom options would come in useful, lets say we want to charge $75 for the tooling. It'll breakdown in the following way:
(calcs if you buy 1 umbrella)
$37.75 x 1 - (fixed option)
$1.75 x 1 - (fixed option)
$75.00 x 1 - (absolute option)

$37.75 x 10 - (fixed option)
$1.75 x 10 - (fixed option)
