File Downloads & Product Attachments
File Downloads & Product Attachments Magento extension provides unified functionality for file downloads and media content sharing available from within Product pages, CMS pages, Static blocks and even 3rd party Magento extensions.
Easy-to-use File Manager allows file uploading and instant attaching of the uploaded file to one or many products. Category Manager enables you to keep files structured and organized in the backend.
Files also can be attached to a product in a very convenient way under Attachments tab on a product page in Magento Admin panel. Files are hierarchicaly organized there in a tree-type structure, each file under its parent category.
Files can be easily added to any CMS Page or Static block with Magento block directive.
Every file can have its own access permissions. For example, you can deny access to a file for non-registered visitors or grant access to a specified customer group(s). Every file has downloads counter and the total number of downloads can be limited.

October 12, 2012Ok, so after the passing of more than 24 hours with no one from Mageworx addressing my ticket, i am posting the issue here, hopefully someone gets to me with some help: I have another extension of Mageworx installed in my website. after buying this File Download and Product attachment extension, i couldn't install it, because Mageworx use the same file naming system for both extensions. for example they have MageWorx_Adminhtml.xml in the Module Folder of both extensions. so in order for me to install the new extension, this xml file has to overwrite the other xml file of the other extension that have the same name. after further checking, i found that there are other files in the Code folder that have the same problem. Using Benguch suggestions i can probably change the codepool reference, but what about this mageworx_adminhtml.xml file??? it i funny that Mageworx thought of naming the files after there own company name instead of after the name of the extension itself ( which is more unique and having less chance of encoacuntering such overwrite issue).
