Advanced Permissions
Advanced Permissions enables admin to assign permissions to users for editing products, managing product categories, managing orders, design and configurations within specific catalogs, store views and websites.
This extension will be particularly useful for stores with big catalogs, for multiple store views and for businesses that need to allow users with restricted permissions to manage their own products.

List of features:
- Enables admin to assign Permission on product editing per category, store view and website;
- Enables admin to assign Permission on categories editing per store and store view;
- Enables admin to Allow/Forbid product deletion;
- Allows for restricting order management per store view and website;
- Allows for restricting configuration management per store view and website;
- Enables to restrict customers' management per website of the selected store view;
- Enables to restrict access to the following CMS elements: Pages, Static blocks, Widgets and Polls and manage them per webiste and store-view;
- Enables to restrict access to the following Reports: Sales, Abandoned Carts, Products, Customers, Reviews and Tags and manage them per website and store;
- Allows to switch on/off the ability for restricted administrators to edit global attributes for their available products;
- Info on the dashboard is displayed in accordance with user’s roles and permissions;
- Allows to restrict access for a Role to several store-views or websites;
- Allows super-admin to configure sub-admins Roles to view/edit only own products;
- Enables Super-Admin to recieve notifications about new products created by sub-admin, review and approve them to be displayed on the front-end;
- Creates a "Duplicate" button on Role edit page, which allows for creating a new Role with the same settings and restrictions;
- Comes with a User Manual and an Installation Guide;
- The extension’s functionality is 100% Open Source.

This extension was developed by and is supported by AITOC
Advanced Permissions 9 9Good. However, does not support Import/Export. I have bought the Advanced Permissions module, and it works as per their demo site. As can be shown in the video, it is very useful to restrict subadmin rights in the Catalog->Manage Products tab. However it is a pity that the subadmin rights are not restricted in the System->Import/Export tab. Which means that the admin cannot allow the subadmins to use this function, and all subadmins products have to be entered/edited one by one via Catalog->Manage Products tab. So IMO the use of this module is limited to small subadmins catalogs. April 11, 2013Excellent product. Is this extension works on multiple stores with all type of configuration, stand alone domain, subdomain, subfolder etc.. If yes, Do I need one license for this purpose or license for each domain? 2. On your demo I have Added 2 new products and it assigned them to both stores instead to the store I was logged. On the website tab related to the product it shows both stores instead the store I am logged to? 3. Accidentally I have not assigned a new created product to the website and it disappeared and went to main bucket. just the main admin managed to fix the problem. website option on new created product should be compulsory. 4. Is it possible to limit stores to attribute set and product type I have created only for them ? 5. I have noticed that all stores can view other stores customers. 6. Reports (including all options under), Newsletter, Promotion, customer, catalog(attributes), sales. Are they accordance with user’s roles? Hope its not too much but will help others. Thanks February 14, 2012This review is related to Aitoc as a company Aitoc Multi Inventory kept crashing our store whenever we changed baseUrl - without warnings or anything - magento was just showing 404 error and it took us several hours first time we noticed it to figure out it's aitoc. To make things worse, even though we payed $600 for their extension, Aitoc refused to provide us with a stand-by assistant over skype during our launch, in the case store breaks again and we cannot fix it with instructions they provided.
