FancyZoom (simple lightbox with gallery)
A simple FancyZoom lightbox with gallery option. Offers handy configuration settings. Works out of the box for default themes. Uses Magento's built-in prototype.js. No jQuery required.
INSTALLATION
Install the Magento key via your /downloader system.
CONFIGURATION
Go to System > Configuration > Morningtime > FancyZoom.
Review the default settings.
CUSTOM THEMES
If your theme resides outside of the app/design/frontend/default folder, then you must copy the theme and skin files to your custom theme.
Find the following files and copy them to your custom theme:
- /app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/morningtime
- /app/design/frontend/default/default/template/morningtime
Also copy the skin files:
- /skin/frontend/default/default/js/fancyzoom.js
- /skin/frontend/default/default/css/fancyzoom.cs
- /skin/frontend/default/default/images/fancyzoom/*

However, there are a few options I would like to see included to make this a -perfect- add on: - ability to limit widht and height of the overlay to percentages of the screen - prev next arrows to hit the next image January 23, 2013I was able to install everything and clear cache but when I click on the product image in the product page nothing happens. And when I click on a thumbnail image below the product image nothing happens. What can I do? November 7, 2012Good little extension. Two things missing though to make it GREAT. 1) Next/Prev Buttons in lightbox 2) Main image change on mouse rollover. Right now it just displays the same default image all the time and the only way to see the rest is to click on them and see them in the pop-up window.
