January 15, 2012Hello, I bought this extension for $59 it worked as i expected. Then i requested for additional customization work based to my website.Developers done this work perfectly what i requested within the time they promised. Yes i agree for additional customization we need to pay some small amt. No one can do customization work for free of cost :-) It makes sense. Thank You Kamtech for such a nice extension. January 15, 2012Let me repeat my review as this company seem to "magically" get lots positive feedback all in the same day once a negative review has been left about them: BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Not only will you lose money/time/effort but they are vindictive and you will probably lose more. I foolishly ignored all the negative reviews and purchased the "Product Selector" extension from them which was advertised with "full installation and support". However out of the box it did not work. It wasnt picking up the categories and subcategories from my (unmodified) database. Upon contacting them with this issue and a few other minor adjustments they actually responded quite quickly and got it to work somewhat. However I then realised it was stuill buggy as it was showing filters for products that were not set to active (and not sorting the list order) and hence customers would get erronneous or blank result pages. I emailed them about this and two days later I got a money request for a further $75 for allegedly 4 hours worth of work! Not only had the customisation they had done (which I would happily have paid for) probably no more than 10 mins work, but they also wanted me to pay them for the bug-fixing! When I queried this they said they had notified me in advance of these charges and when I asked them "when?" they proceeded to log into my site and sabbotage the code, removing the fixes they had done and leaving it unusable again! They did not reply to my requests of refunds. Luckily I paid with PayPal and have filed a claim with them to get my money back. Had they been in the UK I would also be suing them right now for their illegal actions and failure to provide a product fit for use. In the end I wasted days with this company and got no where. Buy at your own risk, you have been warned.I do not mind paying good money for good products but the way this company deals with customers leaves a sour taste and a lot to be desired. **UPDATE** Upon them seeing this review they asked me to remove it, however I replied that I that my review was thoroughly honest and fair and would only comment on it or consider removing it once they had addressed the bugs in their software or refunded me such that I was satisfied. IN RESPONSE TO THIS I GOT THREATS OF NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ABOUT MY WEBSITE!!! Let me QUote: "Please note you may get such reviews for your website too ? Are you the business owner of your website?
