OSC is a total revamp of the standard checkout process in Magento. The core feature is that it reduces the six standard Magento checkout steps down to one. Totals and prices are dynamically updated via AJAX when shipping/payment method is selected. The user simply fills in their address and chooses delivery/payment methods on the same page, rather than having to do a separate step for each.

Standard, Professional and Enterprise
We offer three editions of our checkout module: Standard, Professional and Enterprise. There are two key differences between these versions; First, our Professional and Enterprise editions fully supports the Professional and Enterprise edition of the Magento ecommerce platform. Second, our Enterprise license allows for use on unlimited domains, while our Standard and Professional edition only allows use on a single domain.
The Standard edition is not a stripped down version of our checkout module. It offers the same features, but it does not include support for the Magento Professional and Magento Enterprise editions.
Compability
OneStepCheckout is thoroughly tested and compatible with all versions of Magento Community, Professional and Enterprise editions. It utilizes the JavaScript library Prototype which is already bundled with the Magento ecommerce platform.
It also supports all the modern versions of Firefox, Opera, Chrome (including all Webkit browsers), Safari, and Internet Explorer versions 6, 7 and 8.
OneStepCheckout is a single step checkout extension. All actions are performed above the fold. The core feature is that it reduces the six standard Magento checkout steps to one. Let down by very poor support
There are a lot of promises of this working with all payment and shipping modules but it does take a lot of work for them to work.
What really lets this module down is the very poor attitude and helpfulness of support. Problems related to payment modules are all referred to others blaming "non standard", "poorly written" and "bad implimentations". Thankfully not all developers take this poor attitude.
Random characters in the state/provience address field are attributed to Magento requireing this detail when it clearly does not. Solution - purchase custom development.
Could learn an awful lot from other developers.

Great Extension. Expensive but worth it.
I had a little bit of free time today while waiting for the database backup process to finish, and wanted to write a quick review. One step checkout is a great extension that makes it quicker and faster than the normal Magento process to checkout on a site. We put it on our site and have seen better conversions.

Great product
It makes checkout steps are very easy. It has lots of feature...
But sometimes integration with modules that use native checkout page is hard.
Also theme can be customized but no native mobile theme. It's not responsive.

Great extension, awesome support!
Does exactly what it promises: check out in just one easy step!
Really a must have for every magento store, stop customers going crazy filling in the standard magento check out form.
We own a licence dated back in 2010 and they solved me a huge issue with a 12-hour reply.
Here's what I call a lifetime warranty!
Definitely worth the money.

Significant increase of sales

Amazing Product and Service
Both the extension and the support I have received from the development team have been fantastic!

This is a very simple plugin and has flexibility for customization if needed. The extension options in Magento Configuration make it very easy to change how you want shipping, billing, coupon code, etc. to display and updates right away.
In addition, I needed to change the production domain, and customer service did it with no hassle. Great experience.

The module is flexible and can be styled without issue.

Please advise on where the collected money is deposited? do we need to have a spearate bank account and integrate with? or a pay-pal account? or how is it handled. Please also advise if this extension supports international currencies.
