Configurable Product Custom Stock Status And More!
Description
Have you ever wanted to display an expected in stock date instead of having the product disappear in a configurable product drop down menu? Well here's your answer!
With this module you are able to set a custom "stock status" in the products edit page for each and every simple product that makes up your configurable product. You can even show the current stock level! Now, when a products quantity drops below 1, the drop down will automatically display "OUT OF STOCK." Then you can go into that products edit page, and add on any additional text, like an expected in stock date. When your product becomes in stock again, the out of stock text is gone. All done automatically! You can also show a pre-order date or shipping date in the dropdown!

- Works with Simple, Configurable, Virtual, and Bundle products and has separate options for each.
- Will change availability and shipping text at top of page dynamically based on configurable options selected!
- Has its' own control panel in configuration to turn options on and off easily
- Can display any text you like, such as an expected shipping date or "Ships in 1-2 Days"
- Ability to exclude dates like holidays and weekends and compute shipping date accordingly.
- Automatically switches text to "out of stock" or "on backorder" on products when quantity is below 1
- For simple products, can show "Limited Stock" when quantity gets below a threshold you set in options
- Works with configurable products that have multiple options, not just two
- Works with Magento's backorder options on products and can show "on backorder" if wanted.
- Compute shipping date in real time, only counts business days OR
- Show shipping countdown just like Amazon.com based on order cut-off time.
- Show pre-order date if product is on pre-order.
- Stock info can also be shown on category pages.
- Item goes off pre-order after pre-order date expires.
- Stock status info link and option to hide expired expected dates.
- Adds ability to have stock alerts for out of stock options in a configurable product.
- Fully supports multi store setups and language translations. Also formats date based on locale setting.
- Will add your language to translations if not there already if you help me translate!
