ConnectGento South African Regions
This extension adds the 9 Regions / Provinces of South Africa to your Magento Store. To complete the installation on Magento 1.4 and above your Magento store needs to be reloaded. Connect to your store using FTP and go to the app>>etc folder and delete the local.xml file. Go to your store URL, you will then be presented with the installation procedure for your store. Complete the installation using the same info as when you installed your store the first time. Once that is complete, you can then confirm the regions have been added to your database by using phpmyadmin or your database tool. Locate the directory_country_region and direct_country_region_name to see the changes.
*UPDATE:
To see a demo of this extension, click on View Live Demo. Add a product to your cart and proceed to the checkout page. Then simply enter a South African postal, e.g. 5320, in the ESTIMATE SHIPPING BOX. The extension will then AUTO SELECT the City and Province/Region based on the Postal Code.
