As with any Google Shopping extension, expect that you may have to do some data entry to be able to send Google info it requires. Our extension make this as painless as possible to format a feed according to Google's full specification.

The features of this extension were driven by an internet marketing expert, not developers. The main goal was to get as close as possible to excellent feed data + zero maintenance once the feed is setup. Plan to invest a few hours to watch our videos, read documentation and work with your store's catalog data. Or you can contract Rocket Web to do this for you. Either way, this may very well be your best investment of the year. If I am adding apparel products ie. configurable product with 3 sizes [simple associated products] when I generate the feed it groups them together under item_group_id. However how can I give each simple product a unique URL (ie. configurable.htm?size=x) as I was reading the following from Google... We also recommend you submit URL links that pre-select the variant. For example, if a user selects the red dress in size 10, they should be taken to a landing page, where the “red” and “size 10” options are already selected. If this is not possible, you may include identical link attribute values for each of the variant items within a group. Hope you can advise. Thank you. April 13, 2012
Hi there. Thanks for a great extension. I've just recently started having problems with a missing 'shipping' field, and there's no options to add this field in with a fixed value. I wondered if I'm doing something stupid, or whether it's a new google requirement that hasn't been addressed yet? Many thanks Simon March 21, 2012
Installed in Magento 1.6.2.0. Broke admin, even after clearing cache, logging out. Logged in went to clear cache again, no admin. Took me about 10 sec to remove this mess. March 15, 2012
I see errors in my js console, } missing after argument list for both Google Product Category by Category amp; Product Type by Category Must have happened when I created categories, and then deleted a bunch of them again. I refreshed cache, rebuild indexes etc ... What can I do to fix this? March 12, 2012
For me the Google Product Category by Category button is broken... and also the Product Type by Category button. Nothing happens when I click either, first day these buttons worked when I installed, then I imported products (23k) and about 250 categories, now the buttons do not do a thing when I click them to set up the feed category settings :( March 12, 2012
I cannot get the feed to show any products. I receive this message: # Started at: 08.03.2012 22:57:48 # Store Default Store View # The feed was generated. 0 products were added 0 products were skipped. # Finished at: 08.03.2012 22:57:48 I am running virtual products. How can I fix this? PS: Testing the feed provides the same result. March 8, 2012
This is a great extension and can't believe it's free, I've installed it woke up this morning to the new feed text but it's missing the first 100 products, when I tested it I set the offset 0-100 but those boxes are empty, any ideas? March 7, 2012
An amazing alternative to $99-$250 3rd party softwares out there (that rarely work the way you want them). Needless to say, "Thanks a LOT!" February 20, 2012
Nice work, but I´missing the option "only products with quanity X". The file without products status like "not on stock". Have anyone a idea ? Thanks for your support February 14, 2012
I installed successfully , but get a stuck in Cron job , Nothing generate , The trouble is I can not find out host error or module error :-( At last I have to edit code to raise TEST OUTPUT value to get a full feed of my store ... I think this module should has manual generate feed button in admin ... people can choose how many products they can output each time . Anyway , thanks rocketweb ! February 8, 2012

Is the license based on number of Magento installs? Or by the number of stores on the same Magento install?

Answer:
This is licensed per Magento install. So if you have 100 stores views in a single Magento install that's one license. If you have 2 stores, each with separate Magento admin login locations, that's 2 licenses.

I did't get the place where I will enter google credentials (account id and password).
I searched on internet they mention the steps:
1) select System > Configuration
2) under Sales, select the Google API tab.
3) Click to expand the Google Shopping section.

but i did't get google shopping section in magento.
I am using Magento CE-1.7.0.2.
So without google credentials , How this extension link products with google.

Thanks.

Answer:
Our extension does not use the Google API but rather generates a text based feed on your server. This feed can then be updated via cron on a nightly basis. When you log into Google Merchant Center you can then point Google to this feed and tell it to fetch the feed each day as well.

I'm getting a "404 page not found" error when I try to enter the tab of the plugin in Systems >> Configuration.

I've followed the instructions provided and replaced the files via FTP and I've also flushed the cache. Can you please advise what I need to do to fix this issue.

Answer:
Yes, this can happen sometimes when installing extensions. If you log out of the admin and log back in, the issue should fix itself.
