Just installed this extension, saved all configs. But its not displaying within my homepage. Am I missing something? Or do I have to place some code into my homepage? Please help!!!! June 9, 2012
Someone might find this helpful: Call any ibanner block at any place with the following idea: lt;?php echo $this-gt;getLayout()-gt;createBlock('ibanners/view')-gt;setGroupCode('[Your_Group_Code]')-gt;setTemplate('['Your_PHTML_FILE_PATH']')-gt;toHtml() ?gt; May 29, 2012
The "solution" to show the banners in categories: After trying several ways I found this. gt; Go to admin gt; Catalog gt; Categories gt; Select one category each time gt; Custom design gt; Custom layout update (and paste this code:) lt;reference name="head"gt; lt;action method="addJs"gt;lt;scriptgt;fishpig/carousel.min.jslt;/scriptgt;lt;/actiongt; lt;action method="addCss"gt;lt;stylesheetgt;css/ibanners.csslt;/stylesheetgt;lt;/actiongt; lt;/referencegt; lt;reference name="left"gt; lt;block type="ibanners/view" name="the name you use" after="left.newsletter" template="ibanners/default.phtml"gt; lt;action method="setGroupCode"gt;lt;group_codegt;yourgroupcodelt;/group_codegt;lt;/actiongt; lt;/blockgt; lt;/referencegt; It is annoying to have to paste it on every category, I know, but is an aproach at least. April 26, 2012
Doesn't display. The system loads the block frontend/base/default/template/ibanners/default.phtml and when I add some text before lt;?php if ($this-gt;hasValidGroup()): ?gt; the text displays. All banners and groups are enabled. April 13, 2012
Hi, the system load blocks, all banners and groups are enable but none display. Any solution to this? March 9, 2012
Easy to setup once installed, but how do I add this to a CMS page? I don't see any documentation anywhere. Thanks! February 21, 2012
Works greatly well out of the box in magento 1.4.1.1. Very useful extension! January 25, 2012
Just installed on 1.6.2.0 and works fine. Basic easy to use banner slider thet does what it says. Good job Dev. January 25, 2012
Works like a charm! Just 2 things: 1) Fade is ok, but would love to have a crossfade (fade from one banner to the other instead of fade to white) 2) Some extra information on how to implement bannergroups in a custom template. For now the homepage banner works great, but would lover to use banners elsewhere to! Thanks for a great plugin! January 6, 2012
On 1.6.1.0 doesn't work. On Settings page, it sais Error 404, Page not found. I can't make it work. January 4, 2012

Hello supporter/developer,

I use iBanner for my site, but in FF/IE, my menu is overlayed by flash. In General Information/HTML I set "<iframe src="http://www.qling.no/MotionComposer/mzFrame.html" width="960" height="400" frameborder="0" name="MotionComposer" id="MotionComposer" scrolling="no"><p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p></iframe>"
How can I bring the menu to front. It work good on Chrome.

Thanks for your help.
Best regards,

Xuan

It will be cool for a lot of banners to have the possibility to sort the items in backend of Magento via Drag & Drop.

Sometimes we use CDN Hostings for some images. It would be great to can use external images with the ibanners extension.

It needs only a field for the external image url.
