QR Mage - Product QR Codes

Installation:
After installation you have access to a box at your magento store that show the qr code for the page you currently on. You can customize the block at your own. Please take care of following steps:
1.) After correct modul installation re-login to magento admin panel. Now you have access to configure all options.
2.) Activate the modul in the configuration and fill out all field with the values you wish.
3.) After this the qr codes have to shown up on all product pages in your store in the left and/or right sidebar.
4.) If you want to use the qr codes more times and/or in different styles and sizes you can create your own template or use the qr code without a box. In the template folder are two different created templates for this. You can just use this or create own templates. The display options is controlled by the playout file 'qrmage.xml'.
Versions:
I've tested the modul with the version 1.4.
Older versions maybe run correct but without guarantee.

Installation:

2.) Aktivieren Sie die QR Codes in den Einstellungen. Füllen Sie alle Konfigurations-Felder entsprechend Ihren Wünschen aus.
3.) Der QR Code sollte nun standardmäßig auf den Produktseiten Ihres Shops zu sehen sein.
4.) Sollten Sie dir Box öfters verwenden wollen, in verschiedenen Größen und Formen, so können Sie jeder Zeit ein eigenes Box-Template erstellen oder die Grafik als Block ohne Box verwenden. Zwei Vorlagen liegen im Template-Ordner des Moduls. Die Anzeige wird über die Layout-Datei 'qrmage.xml' gesteuert.

Please help ... November 10, 2011I will have a go at getting the QR-codes to display in the product admin pages. I don't know if this is already something that is being worked on. If so, please let me know to prevent double work :-) August 16, 2011It's a good idea but you are not thinking about the fact what a QR is for. It should lead the customer to a product page. But in your Module people are already on the actual product when they get to see the qr code so it becomes almost useless. So in my humble opinion you should rebuilt the module to only show the codes on Product admin pages so marketeers can pick them up and use anywhere in the site or make it like a embed code so marketeers can post the image on a Facebook or other website. Next to that your plugin displays the QR-codes on all the product pages however QR-codes are never considered to be beautiful so why not add an option in the product admin pages to display or hide them per product. Has anyone managed to make a modification so that the QR codes can be printed, depending on what products the customer bought? I am interested to paste QR codes on the products my customers has bought. An easy way to get the customer to make a repeat purchase via mobile phone! (: August 8, 2011Great extension. Works perfectly. I noticed that the code overlaps my QR code box bottom border. I have tried re-sizing it but it still cuts it off. Not a big deal, just a small pet peeve. Fantastic options would be to add the image to the admin section of the product page and to remove it from the front end.
