February 26, 2011It seems like a GREAT extension, but if I understand correctly, it lacks few important features as I see it (other wise, I would buy right away!): 1) There should be a default auto discount for the products (usually a percent "off"), that would be overridden in case a different percent OR PRICE is entered to a specific product. 2) The discount should be only for specified quantity for each product. ie. I have 100 in stock BUT want to give only 25 pcs in the daily deal. 3) An option to show the regular price and the discounted price on from end, to "show" user how much (percent OR actual price) he is saving. 4) rss option for the daily deal 5) an auto email that would be delivered to the users that are interested in The last 2 would make the ext a SUPER ext, but I would buy it even if 1st three where there. Is there a way to insert daily deals into a cms page as a block or widget?
I want to include all daily deals item in my homepage, but i do not want the daily deals list to be my homepage, just part of it.

Yes you can insert the sidebar block, slim countdown block and deal list block on any cms page.
To display the deal list block on your cms page you need to add the following line of code to your content:
{{block type="multipledeals/list" name="multipledeals_list" template="multipledeals/list.phtml" }}
