Attribute Splash Pages
Good extension overall. I was forced to edit the Page.php in the Model so that the getProductCollection() wouldn't cause so many memory issues when it attempted to load my grouped vs my simple product. You should really add a visibility check to your code when attempting to load a frontend collection. I lowered the memory by this function 43% when I added my filter. I use grouped products so I have a large amount of products that aren't displayed on the catalog.
$visibility = array(
$collection = Mage::getResourceModel('catalog/product_collection')

Hello: Thanks for this work!
I' trying to install it on a 1.4.1 store and it gives me many errors.
I have it in a 1.5.1 and works fine.
Is there any specific version for each one.
I get some errors about clases that i think 1.4.1 doesnt have.
I cant create pages on it

Lovely module. Everything works fine. I just need help with one thing.
My current template has the layered navigation on the right, below the compare products button. This opens space in the product lists on the left for 3 products per row. The current layout in my template makes it look a bit cramped. Any idea which files and what section of it should i edit for this ?

Hi i am implementing the extension and so far works perfect.
I am a bit lost when I try to change the css for the getProductListHtml() in the attribute-splash/page/view.phtml
I understand that the getProductListHtml() it is getting the $block = $this-gt;getChild('product_list') from the magento cataloge but can you advice me how to do the loop my selef to avoid the product divs and add my own disvs?
Thanks a lot,

There is a littrle problem with the splash pages. If the concerned attribut is not declared as "use in the layered navigation of search results" (attribut parameters) then no products are shown in the splash page. Or if you have an attribut with a lot of labels/options you may not wish all these labels appear as filters in a big list in the layered navigation and jus a link to splash page is fine to show all corresponding products. that's the way I'm using it. Is there a workaround to call the products in the splash pageevent if the attribut is not searchable ? And once again thank you very much for this excellent extention.

Excellent extension! Working in 1.5.1 but I can't get the description field to show. It's only showing the short description field.
Tip for 1.5.1 users. Log out then log back and the 404 error goes away.

I just installed the extension on 1.5.1 and get the 404 error first thing. This makes the extension useless for me as I can do nothing with it.

Works beautifully! There was one thing that I can not figure out. I selected layered navigation because I need to use it to have the user dig deeper to find their product (price, size, etc.).
It all works well but I need the layered navigation block to be below other blocks in my sidebar and it is stuck at the very top with no way to change it. Is there a way?

One of the best and most useful modules for Magento ever! Thanks Guys!
I seem to have a small , irritating problem however - the splash page displays fine, but I get a 404 error when attempting to sort by price up/down etc - not sure if this is because of one of my own modifications or not - has anyone else encountered this?
