Simple Banners
OVERVIEW
FME Banners Extension allows you to design sliding banners powered by Flash Frond End display. The Administrator can also add various Banners or Images which are show-cased on the Front End and has an extensive number of options like Banner width, Banner height, Banner autoplay, Banner image resize to fit, transition speed, show play pause on Banner and much more options for modifying the Banner display.
0 - FRONT END DISPLAY
Banners
- The Front End of the Banners Extension show-cases a stylish Banner to advertise your products in a dandy way. A slide-show can be played in the banner to attract customers to your Magento Store. Modernistic arrows are adorned to the banners to scroll through the slide-show. The Front End of this Magento Extension is Flash enabled for a sliding and blur effect. Details of the images of products are also displayed.
1 - MANAGE BANNERS
Banners Manager
- Shows Banner ID, Thumbnail, Title, Sort Order, Status and a link to Edit the Banners
- Delete by selecting from the grid and selecting the Action
Export to CSV
- You can Export the Banners to a CSV or XML file
- Select the type of file you would like to Save As and Click on Export

- Set the Banner Width by editing the text field

- Set the Banner Image Randomize Order by editing the text field
Text Settings
- Set the Text Size by editing the text field
- Set the Text Color by editing the text field

- Set the Text Line Spacing by editing the text field
- Set the Text Margin Left by editing the text field
- Set the Text Letter Spacing by editing the text field

Simple Banners 61 61For everyone having issues, make sure you have disabled Magento compilation before you attempt to install the extension. To do this go to your sites admin panel, and under the System tab, scroll down to tools and click on Compilation and disable it. After you have installed the extension sucessfully, go back to to the Compilation page and run the compilation process. You should follow these steps before you install most extensions. September 18, 2011Also tried on 1.6 and clicking the banners tab comes up with an error screen. It works fine in my 1.5 install. September 9, 2011What a great extension!!!
