Advanced Product Options
Advanced Product Options extension allows creating custom options and assign them to all product or any number of products in smooth easy way. It is also possible to apply predefined custom options directly on the product edit page.
Advanced Product Options extension adds custom options inventory / quantity and custom options images features. Now you do not need to create hundreds of simple products to combine them into configurable products and handle inventory for every your combination. It got to the point where I can no longer save product options because the javascript times out for some reason. I installed the app on my local machine, fresh copy, it worked fine. I then uploaded to live version and no effects changed. so I am assuming its a out of the box issue. September 1, 2011Great extension, really saved me! I only wish that it allowed you to add weight to each custom option and then have that weight effect the products total weight. Some custom options weight more than others so it would be awesome to have a more accurate weight for shipping purposes. August 24, 2011This extension is just what we needed to show our computer web shop user the correct options of a PC. Due to the backend option setup page, we can create option lists for computer families and link them to several PC's. When changing an option price, all computers linked to the option list shows the new price. This saves us a lot of time when configuring a computer system, plus does this app save a lot of future time in changing the system with the fast changing market. But yes, we had some trouble with some small issues/bug! But the Mageworx support team solved them all!! And not after some days or weeks, no immediately. So they give TOP support!! I see your extension extends inventory, which is so needed, but can you consider adding ability to keep track of cost? This is very important for many businesses, as it is common to have different sizes of products sell for different prices and cost different amounts. So if I want to pull a report on profitability, it will not be accurate if all custom options share the same cost field. I also need to add a 2nd sku field (EAN Number).
