This extension will install a wonderful and ready-to-use LightBox widget in your Magento store.
Installation is very easy via Magento Connect and no coding experience is required to have module up-and-running.
IG LightBox is UPDATE SAFE since no system files are replaced or modified and you can enable or disable it in a click.

With the other one you could expect it to work with their own Magento Classic Free theme but not, I had to adjust the css to really get it on top. There are 2 things I noticed though that might can be addressed in a future release: 1. The bottom part of the image gets hidden behind the extentions toolbar, which may or may not become an annoyance, depending on what's important on the image. On the positive side the toolbar can have its opacity adjusted but it may not always be enough. An option for this would be welcommed. 2. When browser use a lower resolution e.g. 1024x768 and the max for big image is set to same dimmension, or even 800x600 in this case, the top of the extension, including the X button disappears "above" client window top marging and behind the browser toolbar. I have only tested this in FF 3.6 though. Otherwise this extension have all the settings needed to make it fit well in with any site and works as advertized also in 1.4.1.1 so final verdict can be nothing less than 5 stars. August 17, 2010Hi - I tried to go to your website to get technical support, as you told a few other people but it seems to be in a different language... The lightbox works just fine, except when I have a very small color swatch - then it breaks. The text ('image 2 of3') covers the whole image and it freezes, not allowing me to go forward, backward or close it completely. August 9, 2010Great extension but I'm having a few problems. Base image are re-sized and stretched when they are smaller than maximum base size and it makes them looks pixelated and doesn't look at good. How can I keep original size if smaller than base image size in config? Also, I'd like the images to show their real size in the lightbox, once again they are stretched for no reason and doesn't look good. August 5, 2010It extension causes problem in SYSTEM>CONFIGURATION page. I installed this extension on my Magento version 1.3 site. The frontend works fine. However, the system configuration page become blank. I re-installed this extension twice and still get the same problem. I have to uninstall this extension in order to gain access to system configuration page again. Does anyone know what goes wrong? The sizes are not correct in Firefox, and with google Chrome the second pic is completely messed up.
