im trying to do $posts = $this->getPosts( $args ); but it doesnt seem to want to pull from a specific category. Is this not supported? I can not find any documentation on this. My goal is to pull a specific category for the homepage and I put this on my magento homepage. Please help! September 24, 2011
When WP No Category Base mod is active in WP, the pager in categtory pages messes up. For example, the category page is http://domain/blog/mycategory, and page 2 should be http://domain/blog/mycategory/page/2. But it becomes http://domain/blog/page/2, which is the page 2 of entire blog. Anyone got same problem? September 22, 2011
Great extension !!! September 16, 2011
Great product !!!!! September 13, 2011
I have to say whilst I'd managed to install the extension myself, it was worth paying for the additional support to tweak and customise what I wanted. I found there service to be professional, realistic in terms of pricing and above all else very helpful, with some great advice. Whilst ensuring I was set up correctly to support SEO, they also customised the extension to enable it to work correctly on my sites. Well worth it and I love the result - it now means I can retain the blog within my sites with the same look and feel and the shopping cart is right on the customers doorstep. Much appreciated - thanks again. September 9, 2011
It's nice that it support a certain amount of plugin but it would be better to add the links for those. Like for RSS Feed, how to I know which one I should install? September 4, 2011
Plugin works great! I did the little fix to get the "Share This" plug in working. Very pleased. August 30, 2011
Hello, Comments Not Working On my site, when I try to post a comment, I land on a 404 page at “http://www.mysite.com/wordpress/post_view_comment/post/”. Is this a bug or have I set something wrong in my configuration? The tests in the configuration page all show . I also noticed that the wordpress blog still shows up under “http://www.mysite.com/wordpress” - is this normal? I have changed the site address (url) in the general settings to “http://www.mysite.com/news-information” - so it may be a wordpress issue… August 30, 2011
Hard to install but: Seems to work on 1.6.0.0. August 26, 2011
Hello, after installed it through Magento connect manager. I went to my store and saw error "SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'starrygr_magento.wp_options' doesn't exist", what can I do now? August 18, 2011

Answer:
Go to magento admin panel, under CATALOG > URL REWRITE MANAGEMENT, simply add custom url rewrite.

On "request path" just add a slash "/" and at "target path" add your wordpress homepage url.

Answer:
To achieve this you should install the Root add-on:

http://fishpig.co.uk/magento/wordpress-integration/root/

This will allow you to remove the /blog/ from all of your blog URLs. It also includes the option to automatically replace your Magento homepage with the homepage of your integrated WordPress blog.

Our website utilizes your extension, and after updating our magento theme, the blog still uses our old theme.

Just wondering if there is a way to update or reimport the magento theme to reflect the changes we made.

Thanks!

Answer:
The integrated blog uses your Magento theme. If you update your Magento theme, these updates will be passed to the blog. If this isn't happening, this means that either things are being cached (try refreshing the cache) or that something isn't configured correctly.

Answer:
To disable comments you have 2 options:

1) Login to your WordPress Admin and select Settings > Discussion. From here you can disable comments globally.
2) Edit a post/page in the WordPress Admin and disable comments for the post/page. If the discussion section isn't displaying, click the 'Screen Options' tab at the top of the page and check the box next to 'Discussion'.

I also recommend upgrading the extension to the latest version.

Your Overview page says:
"Use your Magento theme for your WordPress blog"

I have Wordpress and the extension installed and all appears to be working well but it's still using the default WP theme. Where do I set it to use the Magento theme? I've read through all the documentation on your fishpig site and nowhere is this feature mentioned.

Thank you.

Answer:
With the latest version of the extension, you can enable theme integration in the configuration area of the extension. This is enabled by default. If this isn't working, the extension isn't configured properly.

Hi,

is this extension designed to use the WordPress pingback/trackback feature? We're using it and it's not working. Maybe there is a common mistake we did?
