Features

Customize How Customers Earn Rewards for Purchases

With Sweet Tooth, you have complete control over how customers can earn points. You can create point earning rules which determine how customers earn points for their purchases. Fine tune rewards based on SKU, brand, price, profit, subtotal, order quantity...any product or shopping cart attribute!

Magento Reward Points Explanation

Earning Magento Reward Points

Earning and Spending Magento Reward Points

Setting Up Magento Reward Points Rule

Creating a rule that gives customers points only if their subtotal is more than $150

Complete Control on How Customers Can Spend Points

Determine how customers can spend their points, and what they can be rewarded with. Allow customers to spend their points using a “points-slider,” checkboxes, drop down menus, or even coupon codes. Customers can receive discounts, free items, or even exclusive “points-only” items that can only be purchased using loyalty points.

Spending Magento Reward Points

A customer spending their points using a shopping cart point slider. This can also be done in the product page.

Spending Magento Reward Points in Shopping Cart

A customer spending points using a shopping cart checkbox.

Magento Product Can Only Be Bought Using Points

A customer purchasing an exclusive “points-only” item. These items create exclusivity because only loyalty program members can get them using points.

Reward Any Customer Action

With Sweet Tooth you can reward your customers for any action they perform. Right out the box you can reward your customers for:

  • Signing up for a customer account
  • Subscribing to your email newsletter
  • Reviewing, rating, and/or tagging a product
  • Voting in a poll
  • Emailing a product to their friend
  • Sharing their referral link
  • Their referral creates a customer account
  • Their referral makes their first order
  • Every order their referral makes (like an affiliate system)
  • The number of lifetime referrals they make
  • Automatically on their birthday
  • The number of lifetime orders they place
  • How long they’ve been loyal customers
  • If they haven’t logged into your site for a while
  • Liking and/or sharing a product/page on Facebook
  • Tweeting a product/page on Twitter
  • Following you on Twitter
  • +1 a product/page on Google+
  • Pins a product/page on Pinterest
  • Sharing their purchase on Facebook and/or Twitter (on the order confirmation page)
  • Much more!

Give Magento Customers Points For Any Action

Give Magento Customers Points For Actions

Right out of the box, Sweet Tooth can reward for over 20 customer actions!

Give Magento Customers Points For Reviews

An example of a customer action that can be rewarded: reviews. Customers can be given points for a review. Like all customer action rewards, these points can be issued in a “pending” status until the review is approved by an administrator, which will then automatically change the points to “approved.”

Fully Featured Referral System

Reward your customers to bring their friends to your store. Each customer can be given a unique referral url and code. Customers can refer their friends by sharing their referral link on social media networks like Twitter or Facebook, sending their friends a direct email, or using their unique referral code. You can reward your customers for sharing their referral link, if their friend creates a customer account, if their friend makes their first order, and if their friend makes any order (like an affiliate system). Referrals can be automatically placed into a special customer group to run special promotions (optional).

Give Magento Customers Points For Referrals

Give Magento Customers Points For Referrals

Customers can be given a referral url. This can be posted on forms, on social media, on websites, and more. Convert their referral url into a QR code and print it out on business cards that are included in your customers’ orders so your customers can easily refer their friends!

Give Magento Customers Points For Referrals

Customers can import their email contacts from the most popular email clients and select which friends to refer - or refer them all!

Give Magento Customers Points For Referrals

Customers are given unique referral codes that they can share with their friends. This is great for an offline referral program.

Social Sharing

Reward your customers for sharing products, pages, promotions, and their order on social media networks to increase traffic, sales, and search engine rankings. Customers can share your products on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Twitter. Motivate customers to follow you on social networks using reward points. Customers can also be motivated to share their purchase right on the order confirmation page.

Give Magento Customers Points For Social Sharing

Included in Sweet Tooth is a social sharing widget that allows you to reward customers for sharing your products, pages, and brand on social networks!

Give Magento Customers Points For Social Sharing

After purchasing, customers can share the items they have bought right on the order confirmation page, and receive rewards. You get social promotion, and customers get to show off their purchase!

Reward For Customer Lifetime Achievements

You don’t just have to reward activities as soon as they happen. With Sweet Tooth Milestones, you can reward customers for lifetime events. Reward customers for their lifetime: orders, referrals, or length of membership. You can also automatically change their customer group so that new loyalty and Magento promotional rules can apply to them. This is a great way to create a Tiered Loyalty Program.

Give Magento Customers Points For Lifetime Achievements

If a customer achieves certain lifetime events, they can be rewarded and automatically placed into another customer group. This means they can have access to new Magento and loyalty promotions, such as free shipping or bonus points for orders.

Reactivate Lost Customers

Sweet Tooth isn’t just designed to make regular customers more profitable. It can be used to reactivate lost customers that otherwise would have been lost. Inactive customers can be regained using points expiry emails, surprise rewards on their birthday, and an automatic surprise points email if they haven’t logged in for a while.

Magento Rewards Points Expiration

One way to save a would-be lost customer is using points expiration. If a customer receives points (for signing up, making their first purchase, etc) and doesn’t return, you can automatically send them an email telling them their reward points are going to expire if they don’t visit.

Completely Customizable

Every aspect of Sweet Tooth can be customized to fit your store. There are over 3,500 Magento Sweet Tooth loyalty programs, and each one is different. You can be confident that Sweet Tooth can be configured to create the successful loyalty program that you need.

Configure Magento Loyalty Points Program

Sweet Tooth is the most customizable loyalty platform available. Every aspect of your program can be adjusted to optimize performance and automation.

Completely Extendible

Is there something that you’d like to reward for that you don’t see above? Don’t worry: Sweet Tooth has a robust API that allows you to reward for anything. You even connect non-Magento systems to Sweet Tooth, like your point-of-sale (POS) system, or your enterprise resource planning system (ERP).

A total chaos I'm quite surprised to see why this extension has so many good reviews. My guess is that they are written either by Sweet Tooth themselves, either by merchants who only see the functional aspect of it. Let me give you a developper's perspective: I experienced this extension in 2 different companies, and I can tell these guys have managed to build a Magento extension that is even more complex than Magento itself. I believe there is not a single core file that is not overwritten by sweet tooth, and not one magento event that is not observed somewhere in sweet tooth. The result is : - it's impossible to have a technical overview of what the extension does - if you've been heavily customizing your shop and you install sweet tooth, the nightmare begins : you have conflicts between modules and btw templates from everywhere, and all the time you "saved" by not developping your own reward module, you lose it 2 or 3 times resolving those conflicts. And since sweet tooth automatically updates every 2 weeks, you can't adapt sweet tooth to your custom modules, you constantly have to adapt your custom modules to sweet tooth. All your PHP classes that inherited from Magento need to be redeclared to inherit from Sweet Tooth, and all your designs need to be readapted to sweet tooth layout. And when you think everything is fine again, 2 weeks later a new bug pops up from nowhere, you investigate 3 hours to finally find out it comes from a sweet tooth upgrade. And if one day you decide to get rid of sweet tooth, then you have to go down the same road again, but the other way around. - but the worse is yet to come: performance. With all its observer methods, the stack trace doubles or triples. Sweet tooth creates new database tables that get very soon overly huge, and generates massive useless mysql queries. The outcome is that at every traffic peek, the website at my former company crashed. 2 times out of 3, sweet tooth was in cause... So then you need to perform a surgeon job to carefully remove "useless" parts of sweet tooth to minimize the chaos, but that never goes without generating new problems for Sweet tooth is one big whole that cant properly work without all of its parts. So my conclusion is: there is no valid reason why a reward module should be so complicated and resource-consuming. Invest rather in time or money developping your own loyalty module, it will be profitable within 3 months. And at your next job interview, ask if the company uses sweet tooth. If they say yes, you run ! I would still finish by saying something nice: Enhanced Admin Product Grid, from the same developpers, is a very nice extension, although its bad rating. April 13, 2013
Excellent Support! The team at Sweet Tooth has been great helping us get our account set up. Installation was easy, and the account rep gave a great tutorial on how to implement the product. Their site also gives great instructional info/tutorials on how to set up the extension. We are really looking forward to see how this extension helps to grow our business! April 3, 2013
Robust Reward Extension We always recommending this extension to our clients as we are Magento industry developer we always prefer Sweet Tooth for almost all the clients who are looking for the Robust Reward System with their eCommerce Store. Best Extension Ever for the Magento Community and Enterprise Version. March 29, 2013
The best bonus system out there I hesitated to buy this extension earlier. Was not cheap at that time, but since we added in the point system working great! We've got new clients, existing ones love that we give them discounts. The extension worked smoothly with our custom theme, and whenever i had questions the support team responded quickly. Continous patches on the extension which improove the functionality and solve any upcoming issues. And you easily can upgrade without messing up your shop which is really useful. One of the best investment we made. Highly recommend. March 21, 2013
Useful extention Very useful extention. In times where the competition is not sleeping, such a solution is a must. Excellent support team which has helped us in any issue. March 21, 2013
Great extensions! I'm using this and it's very good, also with great support! Thank you guys! March 12, 2013
Great product, great technical support Sweet tooth is a good product and as the old adage goes, you pay what you get for. The product is constantly being updated and the documentation is extensive. It's meant to be a white glove service and they do a really good job at facilitating that. The support for this product is fantastic and are available 24 hours a day. February 28, 2013
FANTASTIC! Absolutely unbelievable customer service. Following recent upgrade of Sweet Tooth it caused an extension conflict within my store with another extension. I was a little annoyed to say the least as it explained why I had no sales the previous day! I emailed at 830am GMT asking for help. By 842am GMT the issue was resolved. Impecable service and fantastic product which my customers love and want to keep coming back for more. 5* for product and service. February 1, 2013
Installed with no problems on 1.7.0.2, great software and very easy to setup, a great product. Still getting store fully set up so am currently running the free developer plan for the time being. Yet despite not being a paying customer (yet) they bent over backwards to help me, I really can't recommend their support highly enough though, they really shine here! All in all an awesome package and I am looking forward to becoming a paying customer and rewarding them for their assistance! January 21, 2013
Wow - I really have not experienced any better service. Had a layout problem in my shop, they made me aware of. But since I could not get in touch with my web designer. Were they as helpful to correct the problem for me. :-) Not only do they provide a great support they give it incredibly fast. And then they offer a great product. Can one ask for more? Hi there. I want to buy your extension but i have a few questions.
what´s the difference between this license and buying a monthly subscription?
I just want a one time payement not a subscription of product, is that possible?
Please tell me the main differences.

Answer:
Hi Kyllaz,

In the past we use the license to run the rewards system but we have completely transitioned into a SaaS system and have gone a long way since then. All the subscription plan packages comes with the same benefits and features of our old Platinum license, the only difference is the amount of transactions you can do per month. This new system provides more flexibility and will help gauge the effectiveness of your loyalty program. if you feel that it's not working well on your online business, then you're free to opt out of the subscription anytime.

We do offer a one time payment of your annual or two years subscription with a discount. Please visit the pricing page on our website and sign up and if you wished to talk to our eCommerce advisors to give you a better insight about the product, feel free to contact us directly by navigating to the "Get Help" section from this board.

Thanks!

Answer:
Yes! Sweet Tooth can create "point earning rules" based on any product or shopping cart attribute.

So to answer your question, you can set different reward amounts for each SKU (product). You could do the same for categories, or subtotals, or anything!

If you have any more questions, just email us: info@sweettoothhq.com and we'd be happy to answer!

I am currently with Bigcommerce and using Sloyalty for rewards. I will be moving to Magento CE and looking at Sweet Tooth for rewards.

I can export my customer data and points from Bigcommerce in a spreadsheet or tab delimited text file. I need to know if this can be imported in to Sweet Tooth to assign to customer accounts that will be imported into Magento.

Thank you.

Answer:
Yes, this is definitely possible. A lot of our customers come from other loyalty platforms (sometimes even Magento Enterprise Rewards).
