QuickBooks Integration (Pro, Premier, Enterprise)
Good solution for getting Magento order info to Quickbooks
We have been using ECC for about 4 months now to get our order info from Magento into Quickbooks. It has worked pretty well with a few exceptions.
Support has managed to get everything fixed, but it has been a somewhat time-consuming process each time. It is frustrating when things stop working, but at least they have been able to make fixes.
I would recommend this to anyone trying to get data from Magento into QB. It is the best solution I have seen.

Quickbooks Inventory Update
The recent update for this extension has made the inventory sync almost instant for the few hundred products we have.
We do not use any other features of this extension.
It would be nice to be able to sync existing customers to their existing accounts based on their account number but I do not think this is possible.

Syncs Quickbooks to Magento
We've bene using Webgility for almost 2 years. Although I have no other solution to compare this to, the product does the job of syncing my inventory and managing my shipments. It doesn't always run smoothly and I allocate a few hours each quarter to spending time on the phone with their support team to problem solve. But the support is generally excellent and usually finds a fix quickly. I have learned not to install new updates immediately. Instead I wait for all the bugs to get worked out. I've yet to update versions without having something break - usually at a time when everything was running smoothly.
I do wish it was more affordable but until there is a competitor on the scene...

Excellent Customer Service
Works with v 126.96.36.199. Easy to deal with company, always able to fix little bugs if need be.
For a lot of SKU's this product is perfect. It saves lots of time, there is no point in doing double data entry.
Would recommend to anyone who is looking at buying this product, huge time saver.

I rarely write reviews, but the customer support at eCC has been top notch. Sure they've dropped the ball a few times, but eventually they call me back. And stay online until they have the problem figured out, or at least a solution identified. They may hate how much time I ring them up, but I know that I'll get (some kind of useful) answer when I do.

Is the cloud version only for the quickbooks integration (online QB). If we wanted both the shipping and quickbooks, would we need to run two different pieces of software? We're trying to get away from desktop apps.

The monthly fee is the nail in the coffin and is too much.

Unfortunately this software is all that is currently available to integrate with QB at a decent price.
I have been using ECC for over 6 months now and I am very disappointed. There are numerous bugs, the latest of which is with ECC 3.4 and it fails to download Amazon orders. Just got off the phone with tech support (i have them on speed dial it seems) and they inform me that there is an update available that fixes the bug but they did not bother to send it out as an automatic update? Why wouldn't they? If their software cannot download orders that is a MAJOR bug and if it has been fixed it needs to be pushed out to all customers! Honestly it does not even seem like they test the software before releasing new version. New versions come with new bugs which means new work arounds. Very frustrating company to work with. I can't wait until someone better comes along with a better product I will jump ship right away.
Here is a list of bugs that are all available in the latest version except for #1 it appears to have been fixed.
Problems with ECC
1. re-saving the shipment creates another shipment. should override. no way to edit shipment in case of mistake.
2. does not update order with correct shipping option. always uses Best Rate
3. Does not remember default settings for Endicia or WorldShip ie package size, weight, method.
4. No order numbers on labels printed by endicia.
5. Should automatically populate shipping method when processing shipping with multiple orders. should not remember what you used last but instead populate actual method.
6. Cannot "tab" between dimension boxes.

We are a web development company that specializes in e-commerce and we have used ECC with many of our clients, if not all of our clients. Most of them use Quickbooks and need the sync in products and orders.
The set up is a struggle and there is a huge learning curve before really seeing the benefits of the product.
Not to mention support is egh ok, not bad, not great, just ordinary at the most.
However, we are very disappointed with Webgility's new pricing model, forcing our customers and future clients to switch to a monthly subscription fee model.
In fact we now offer different solutions to our clients and use ECC as a last resort. (If any need a consultation on this, feel free to ask us)
With the way the economy is and the majority of people that use ECC are small to mid size businesses, its already hard for a client that has to pay merchant fees such as paypal pro, hosting fees, SSL certificates, staff and so on...
But it's worse to be forced to pay a monthly fee to sync to there quickbooks?
Many of our clients and ourselves as well, feel that this is outrageous as there is no value provided to have to subscribe to a monthly fee.
It is much feasible to pay a flat fee or a yearly license fee, then to force to pay a fee and a monthly license fee.
In the meantime we will be recommending other solutions.

I could not agree more with the sentiment I have found here. I wish I had listened to the feedback a year ago when I first purchased this product. It works fairly well when you have a simple store with very little product, so most trial runs are going to be successful. As your store grows and you start building it out however, you will quickly regret you started using eCC. I have had miscellaneous inventory synchronization issues starting a few weeks after my purchase in September of 2010. Support is fairly responsive, but the errors never go away completely and I don't have time to constantly be reaching out to support for a fix that doesn't last. I even started a new Magento installation with the hope that it would eliminate the errors but it did not and my store is horribly out of sync. Now Webgility wants me to pay a monthly fee for broken software since my support has expired so they can repair the problem I have been experiencing throughout the year of my paid support. Just to add, I am very technically astute and have written many of my own PHP-based applications. This is not a user issue. If you value your sanity and your money, stay away from this solution.
