Connect Magento Community to Hosted QB Premier
I purchased ECC Desktop from Webgility to download orders that I place in magento to quickbook. I have been using this for nearly 3 months now and have loaded well over 500 orders.
I host my quickbooks thru Right Networks and ECC is the only connector I know of that supports this type of hosted environment.
The download process is very simple and if there are any mis-matches or issues they are easily resolved. The technical support team has been helpful.
Areas for improvement include the overall performance of the load and ways to pre-screen for data anomolies so issues are resolved before loading and being rejected.
I also would like to have ECC Desktop sort QB data. Today I rely on an application to sort my orders and invoices by sku.

Wegiltiy/Magento Plug In
This is a great plug-in. Webgility is also very helpful whenever we run into a snag between the three components - Webgility, Magento and Quickbooks. We are extremely satisfied with their customer service and response time for issues we have come up.

ECC keeps down manpower
Great automatic sync with QB Enterprise. Inventory cash flow sales tax flow smoothly and automated shipping as well.
Great support team. we are still ironing out some issues but once it's done it will enable our shipping process to be run by ONE person.

Used for a year with Many issues
We have been using ECC for nearly a year and it's been a huge hassle. While customer support is responsive to requests, they don't always diagnose issues correctly, and they often drop the ball. Basically, all the automated functionality has completely disappeared from our software. We have been back and forth with support for several months and they continue to misdiagnose and fail to resolve the issue.
This isn't the first problem we've had. About six months ago we had issues with our sync not working correctly and that issue took nearly 3 months to resolve.
The software is completely unintuitive and confusing and there are updates nearly every couple months. The upgrade installation instructions for upgrading are vague and often caused issues that required support. And that usually took a week or two to resolve.
Also, they describe that ECC has the ability to sync quantities with eBay, but that is not entirely true. Once a quantity on eBay reaches one, it cannot sync a product to zero and/or remove product from eBay...that you have to do manually.
Overall, one of the most disappointing pieces of software we've ever used. Unfortunately we had to let this go. We will be seeking other software sync integrations. I highly recommend you search for an alternative solution.

HUGE timesaver, a must for big or small users
We ship around 100 orders per day, but whether your store is big or small, you should be recording your sales in an accounting suite such as Quickbooks. This is a time-consuming effort! With this extension, you can easily save hours of time every day.
The user interface is the big winner- it is easy for anyone to use and configure.
We are implementing the shipping features as well soon because we like it so much- we'll be able to post tracking information back to our store automatically, make partial shipments, and start offering different shipping carriers as well! I would strongly recommend watching some of the demo videos.
We couldn't live without this extension! When it comes to the prices, just think about how much time you spend on Quickbooks entering sales, or posting tracking info, etc. Unless you pay yourself $1/hour, ECC easily pays for itself!

2.5 years, and ECC still messes up almost daily
We've been using ECC since version 2, in March 2011. While the support is always helpful, we have all but given up calling. We have issues that are surely not all from ECC. I mean, Quickbooks is pretty much a joke, and the interaction between ECC and QB isn't always seamless. Orders don't always post properly - or at all to QB. Shipping with Endicia - also another poor excuse for software that one has to pay for, screws up at least one a day. International shipments - a nightmare. We just deal with it, we expect it to break. There was a time when we spent dozens and dozens of hours on the phone with ECC support. Each new release would have added some new capabilities, some of which like order updates, is a constant headache. But each release also seemed to break many other things, so we just stopped upgrading. The latest wasn't necessarily better - just later. Also ECC Mobile never worked - period. This was an important reason we went with ECC. Ultimately, we were told it's a free app, and if it doesn't work, that's just the way it is. Is there an alternative to ECC? Probably. We signed up with Brightpearl @ $350/month for 2 users. They can't seem to get their act together, and so far we have yet to use the service after 4 months, although we've paid nearly $3K in subscription and professional services fees. Maybe writing orders by hand is ultimately the best way. Paper is a well-proven technology.

The only way to integrate Quickbooks
ECC is really the only way to integrate your online store with Quickbooks. We have been using the app since it was in version 1 and it works well. There are issues from time to time but overall this is a good plugin to do the job that no others will do, talk to Quickbooks.

Very nice integration
We have been using this product for several months now but really only started using it heavily a week or so ago. We're happy with it overall and recommend it for integration. The only feature that is missing is the ability to handle partial refunds within Magento. This is just something we need to workaround until the feature is added, but otherwise it's great. We use QuickBooks Point of Sale 9.0 with Magento Community 1.6.2

This tool helps save a lot of steps. For us, we just needed a tool to pull our magento sales into quickbooks so we could save some data entry. It odes this well.
Whenever we run across an error or glitch, their support team is able to fix the problem quickly.

Cuts order processing time to almost nothing!
We have been using ECC for about a year now, best decision we made. The platform is pretty easily customizable to your individual needs and it has cut down our order processing and accounting time to almost nothing. What use to take a couple hours takes only 20 minutes and removes the possibility of any user error. Our only request would be to provide an option to only do a PO instead of having to do both a PO and Sales Receipt. Otherwise this has been an excellent product!
