Overview

PaymentFilter for Products and Customer Groups

With this Plugin you'll find within System -> Configuration -> Checkout and Customers -> Customer Groups and within each price-section of a product a new section where you can filter for different payment methods.

After Installation you have to setup your customer groups to ENABLE for each payment method. On the other hand products have the ability to DISABLE single payment methods.

Please remove old version of "cGroupPayments" and execute the following SQLstatement inside you database: ALTER TABLE `customer_group` DROP `allowed_payment_methods`; to remove old table columns.

Installed on Magento 1.5.1. , doesn't work with extension One Step Checkout 4.0.4 :-( April 10, 2012

Wouldn't recommend installing this, if your not sure this extension is what you need. Uninstalling will give mayor problems on both frontend as backend. April 5, 2012

Installed this today on Magento ver. 1.4.1.1 and worked great and easy to setup. However, I am having one issue. I have Paypal as a payment option and it isn't showing up as one I can select in the Customers gt; Customer Groups payment options. March 29, 2012

It Doesn't worked me in 1.6.1 February 22, 2012

Man, this extension caused me a headache. I uninstalled it and then all product pages were causing 404s due to a bad row that it installed in eav_attribute. February 16, 2012

It's not workin for me on 1.6.2. Service temporarily unavailable. :( I've deleted. February 7, 2012

Seems to remove all payment types for everything on 1.6.2, but it's equally possible I'm just doing it wrong. February 1, 2012

Tried it on 1.6.1 and it seems to work. Any experience from others with 1.6.1 January 27, 2012

Confirmed working with Enterprise 1.11.1. The only issue i had was that Magento Connect needed to be set to allow extensions in beta. January 26, 2012

How do i add Paypal to the list of payment methods to block?

I sell B2B only. Does this program enable me to select what payment method I allow for each customer. For example, long established good accounts have Net30. Many new customers are only COD Check. Please advise

hi rico
i hope you can help
i have magento 1.7.0.2
your extension was installed and working but i have to uninstall it
i removed via magento connect, refreshed cache, logged in/out
i also ran:
DELETE FROM `eav_attribute` WHERE attribute_code = ‘product_payment_methods’;
DELETE FROM `core_resource` WHERE code = ‘payfilter_setup’;
ALTER TABLE `customer_group` DROP `allowed_payment_methods’;
and can confirm these tables are not in database

i am now trying to install again via magento connect
however this time it does not work!
after magento connect install i refresh cache and log in/out
i see settings System -> Configuration -> Checkout and Customers -> Customer Groups
i do not see setting in product pages
after allowing payment methods via Checkout and Customers -> Customer Groups i checkout at front but see no payment methods

i think the problem is that the database tables are missing

do you know of a solution?
