Simple Configurable Products

This extension changes the way that the pricing of Configurable Products works in Magento.

With Simple Configurable Products, the price for configurable products is taken directly from the associated simple products rather than the configurable product itself.

This gives site owners direct control over the price of every individual configuration of a product, while still giving users the flexibility they usually get with configurable products. There's no more having to set rules such as: +20% for blue, -£10 for small, +15% for leather. You just price the underlying small-blue-leather product at £199.99 and that's what the user pays.

SCP has full support for:

• Tier Prices
• Custom Options
• Catalog Price Rules
• Dynamic update of product image/description/name to match the matching associated product

The same problem with SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '398-0-1' for key 'PRIMARY'. I have to uninstall. October 20, 2011

it will install by default the version 0.7.4 while the lates one is 0.8.2 that will not be found on magento-connect (???) October 15, 2011

Is there a way to get the tier price message visible f.i."buy 10 pieces, get 10% discount" on the configurable product view page if you use this extension? Price info comes from the child items, so the tier price info is already there. Assuming that all of your child items have the same tier price structure(same prices for every child item, it would be nice to show on the frontend what discounts are valid with the tier price message. Perhaps the first child item price info can be used to show this on the frontend? Is there a way of implementing this? October 7, 2011

Using SCSP on 1.4.2 for a shoe store, so conf product with several simple prods, each for the shoe size. Works great, except when the prices changes depending on size, in the div scpcustomoptions the wrapper is displayed, showing the full page of my website just below the size dropdown. I have hidden in scpwrapper.html the div SCPcustomOptionsDiv. This is for now no problem, because we don't use custom options. Hope you can help. September 8, 2011

It worked even on magento 1.6 RC2, but when I installed 1.6 stable release I cannot save or create any product: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '5-0-1' for key 'PRIMARY'' in /var/www/vhosts/melaxon.com/httpdocs/lib/Zend/Db/Statement/Pdo.php:228 August 22, 2011

Error with Simple Configurable Products and Cross-Sell

I am having a problem that with extension and cross-sell product associated to configurable products…
I have a configurable product with some simple products as associated products… in the frontend I open the configurable product and I add to cart one of the simple associated products.
I have set cross-sell products for the configurable product added to cart bu the “cross-sell” section are not shown on the “Cart” page.
Have you a solution for this? Thanks!
