Overview
Simple Configurable Products
This extension changes the way that the pricing of Configurable Products works in Magento.
With Simple Configurable Products, the price for configurable products is taken directly from the associated simple products rather than the configurable product itself.
This gives site owners direct control over the price of every individual configuration of a product, while still giving users the flexibility they usually get with configurable products. There's no more having to set rules such as: +20% for blue, -£10 for small, +15% for leather. You just price the underlying small-blue-leather product at £199.99 and that's what the user pays.

Works Fine in 1.7.0.0 ..!!!!
but having one issue.. edit link for configurable product does not works on cart page..!!!!!

Be aware of the following issues (Magento Community 1.7.0.2):
1. product price re-indexing might not work ("Cannot initialize the indexer process")
2. Configurable products might not show up on the front end as their inventory defaults to zero (despite the fact that they are set to "in stock", "enable", and their associated products have inventory)

I am working on Magento 1.7.0.2 and I had no problems even with Price Indexing. The title, price, and description changes according to the simple product, but the only description (description and additional information) does not change with other themes. Anybody knows how I can make it work with other themes?

Installation works, and it shows up nicely in the configurable product editor. Also, the product is accessible from the front-end. What is not working for me is the display in a product category ... seems like it's not being put into a category like it should. When I call the url directly, the breadcrumb navigation shows it directly below "home".

We have installed your extension in 1.6.2.0. & its working fine for frontend.
We are having issue when admin tries to make order from for configurable product. When admin search for configurable product & update cart qty after configuring it, systems add associate product properly but instead of considering associate product price its taking configurable product price into cart that is causing issue with order. Could someone tell if extension also supports in backend ?

Installed correctly on CE 1.7.0.2 and took over existing configurable products pricing correctly. However this extension causes Magento to throw an error on pricing index re-index which in turn causes your new configurable products to not be visible in front-end. Uninstalling this extension made my conf. product appear again in front end. It would be great to make this extension CE 1.7 compatible as it does the job very well.

Great extension, just one question.
After install several times on debug mode store. I want to index Management. The product Prices status is always REINDEX REQUIRED and every I reindex it, there is an error message "Cannot initialize the indexer process"
Does this matter?

I am having a problem that with extension and cross-sell product associated to configurable products… I have a configurable product with some simple products as associated products… in the frontend I open the configurable product and I add to cart one of the simple associated products. I have set cross-sell products for the configurable product added to cart bu the “cross-sell” section are not shown on the “Cart” page. Have you a solution for this? Thanks!
