BROKE MY SITE!!! Followed the instructions from the PDF and now my site doesn't work! Emailed support with NO response. really disappointed after seeing all the great reviews. I'm using 1.9 December 7, 2014
Remarketing Errors Hi, According to Google, the Re-marketing tag needs to include the custom parameters even when the information is blank. As an example, the homepage should read as follows: Currently, with the Fooman Google Analytics for Magento the homepage reads: Is this something that can be fixed? Thank you, July 28, 2014
Bug in order tracking code Nice module. But no order tracking code on success page when order was done via payment gateway. I think that developers should look at this issue. July 9, 2014
Duplicated google tracking code After installed, there are two same tracking codes. June 14, 2014
Easy to install and provides useful business insights This module was easy to install and worked out of the box on our magento store. The ability to easily integrate Google Analytics has allowed us to have good quality analytics from day one of moving to our new shopping cart platform. The funnel analysis is particularly useful. This helped us to identify conversion issues early and resolve them quickly with design tweaks. Highly recommended. February 7, 2014
Great extension, could benefit from an update Great extension. Can be installed and uninstalled without issues. Could benefit from an update since some tracking methods are deprecated, such as _trackPageLoadTime. Nonetheless I believe Fooman is a great contibutor to the Magento community. Kudos! Product submission selection options Hi, I'ved used this extension for a few months now and it proving extremely useful. However one improvement I may suggest to save time and generating errors with google merchant is to be able to filter products by availability.. In Stock - Out of Stock so you avoid submitting items that are rejected because they're 'Out of Stock'. I've found that submitting items that are out of stock, slows and even halts the submission process with Google Merchant. Otherwise a great extension. December 17, 2013
Install error Hi. I am happy to see so many enjoy this extension. But I get error after installing on my Magento 1.7. Fatal error: Call to a member function toOptionArray() on a non-object in /home/pandapqc/public_html/magshop/includes/src/Mage_Adminhtml_Block_System_Config_Form.php on line 427 This is the error msg that appears when I try to go to; Configuration / Sales / Google API. I have tried to log out and in again. Anyone with any idea? November 2, 2013
Work perfectly and request of feature This add-on works on 1.7 (alla version). According to Google Analytics documentation users are recommended to upgrade to Universal Analytics as soon as possible. https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/upgrade/
Unfortunately UA does not support remarketing or demographics/interest reports but it will in phase 3. What is the plan to support the new platform? We don't intend to make the switch until Phase 3 when remarketing is supported but I'd like to plan ahead. Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes - however no timelines are yet available.

According to
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/upgrade/

Google is phasing out features that are currently used by the extension (remarketing, custom data fields) so we will need to check how to best transition this.

At the bottom they mention once the last phase is complete they will support the old analytics for 2 years – so fortunately no rush.

Answer:
Hi Chris,

Thanks for your question.

This extension will support the new Universal Analytics feature, however no timelines are yet available for the Universal Analytics release. There are also further planned changes to Google Analytics (including remarketing and custom data fields), which we plan to adapt the Fooman Google Analytics + extension to as they are implemented. In terms of Google's timeframes, they have indicated that once the last phase is completed, the old analytics will continue to be supported for 2 years.

Hello. I'm having trouble integrating enhanced link attribution with this module.

Here is the google guide : https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2558867?hl=en-GB&ref_topic=2558810

I've done the following in the ga.php file

on like 105 where var _gaq = _gaq || [];' .

I added below :

'var pluginUrl =
\'http://www.google-analytics.co.uk/plugins/ga/inpage_linkid.js\';
_gaq.push([\'_require\', \'inpage_linkid\', pluginUrl]);'

This should work and the output in the source code is correct however, when I view the network there are no longer page views being fired... any ideas ?

Hi there,

You would not be able to follow the tutorial as listed since our extension uses its own Ga block (/app/code/community/Fooman/GoogleAnalyticsPlus/Block/Ga.php). You might be able to combine the two but we can't provide support for this.

Hi, stange thing. When I have turn on Google Analytics with your extension, I have always double Google Analytics Code in my shop. I don't know why.

Look at my settings: http://scr.hu/1x38/cunml
(sorry, it's polish language).
Web: http://colshop.pl/
And of course my double code action:

})();
var _gaq = _gaq || [];

_gaq.push(["_setAccount", "UA-2395953-40"], ["_trackPageview",""], ["_trackPageLoadTime"]);

if(Ajax.Responders){
Ajax.Responders.register({
onComplete: function(response){
if(!response.url.include("progress") && !response.url.include("getAdditional")){
if(response.url.include("saveOrder")){
_gaq.push(["_trackPageview", ""+ "/opc-review-placeOrderClicked"]);
}else if(accordion.currentSection){
_gaq.push(["_trackPageview", "/"+ accordion.currentSection]);
}
}
}
});
}

//

Hi,

We keep getting the Analytics code twice in the head. Checked everything and cleared cache, it just keeps being inserted twice.

Any idea why?

Also, does the demographics and interest feature work out of the box, or do we have to change the code a bit?

Hi there,

The currently released version of Google Analytics has not been marked compatible with this version of Magento (1.8.1) due to changes in Magento's Google Analytics extension. You might want to try the development releases from https://github.com/fooman/googleanalyticsplus which will resolve the double up.

The change required for enabling the demographics and interest feature is the same as using Google's Remarketing Script - which is a setting the extension offers.

Hi there,
I believe this is coming from a chrome extension to check google tags. Even though it comes up as an error it is a false positive in that it works. Our newer version available on github should deal with this differently and not have this message.

Google "Universal Analytics" is rolling out as a requirement now... Thus far, only one of our sites was just forced to do the upgrade, and has stopped working because of this.

Please implement the new required code. Thanks.

Answer:
Hello there,

According to
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/upgrade/

Google is phasing out features that are currently used by the extension (remarketing, custom data fields) so we will need to check how to best transition this.

At the bottom they mention once the last phase is complete they will support the old analytics for 2 years – so fortunately no rush.

Cheers,

Hi I just installed the extension.

Strangely, i'm not seeing Enable First Touch Tracking or Track Page Load Time not present in backend, although the other Fooman GA+ options are there. I installed via magento connect and it was an Alpha version which i thought might be the problem, so i uninstalled that and downloaded directly from the Fooman website and installed via FTP but im getting the same problem. Any ideas why?

Thanks

When I copy the Magento Connect Key directly from above where it says "get latest version" and install it through the connect manager I get shown that I successfully installed the "0.11.5 (beta)". This is however an old version, I guess...

The key of the latest version:

http://connect20.magentocommerce.com/community/Fooman_GoogleAnalyticsPlus-0.15.12

does not work in magento connect as it sais:

"community/Fooman_GoogleAnalyticsPlus: Extension is 'alpha' please check(or change) stability settings on Magento Connect Manager"

Does anybody have a suggestion? Any help is appreciated, thanks a lot!
