Product Feed Generator by CPC Strategy
Poorly written, doesn't work as expected
Not sure what the deal with this module is. It doesn't seem to function out of the box. After looking at the code I don't really want it installed on my site.

Does what it says
I justed tested this in a production environment and it works nicely. The only minor point is that they try to trick you into leaving your email address and contact data but I consider this a fair deal since the extension is free. In contrast to other reviewers I had no problems getting the products into a CSV file, everything is as it should be.

I installed the plugin and set the cron job. File has been generated but with only headers. There was no product in it...

Does not work for large feed
I was having serious problems using this plugin on a large feed (>10k products). I followed some of the tips on http://www.internetmarketing.net/2014/blog/how-to-export-magento-product-feed-for-google-shopping.html
and was able to get it to work. The most useful one was setting the PHP .ini settings for memory limit to 1024 MB.

The best data feed for any comparison site
Simple tool to get your feed out of magento. Had to make some minor tweaks to get the cron to work but once I had it up and running we've been able to set it and forget it

You get what you pay for
Thought this would be a great extension after being referred by a friend. Installed extension, followed all instructions (including setting up additional cron job through my host). No feed was generated. Uninstalled, reinstalled, followed all instructions again, no feed generated.
Other people seemed to have the same issue as me after a quick google search, but no solution was ever discussed.
Contacted the developer for support, and they referred me to their code people, a company called CueBlocks. At which point CueBlocks told me to purchase 2 hours of support at $45 per hour to get this up and running. I get it. Can't waste time helping people on free stuff. Just doesn't make business sense. That's OK, I'll take my money and buy an extension from someone else.
