Collins Harper Canada Post Shipping Module 2.0
Module works as described. Great support from developer to correct an install glitch we had.
Configuration and install once glitch was corrected is a few steps well explained in a document provided with the module download.
The extension configuration in magento is a simple click of a button to load all Post Canada credentials.
Again, great support from developer's part!

Great shipping option extension
We are currently using this extension as our store's shipping method selection. No hassle's during installation and works as expected. Blazing fast and accurate support from the development team. A surely highly recommended extension!

Great Extension and Awesome Support!!!!!
This extension will save our company time with not having to run around about shipping, and I must say Collins Harper has the fastest support I have seen, they were quick to help with and fix the issues I had.
I could not ask for better support and professionalism from a company, I would recommend dealing with this company to anyone.

Bugs, no service, no support
Using Enterprise 1.13.1. When freshly installed, i was able to place an order, but I got some errors messages while trying to create a shipment. Then, the module was working in/out. The comments from torontovap describe most of the things, so I won't add more.
It seems to have many bugs, or test mode isn't working or maybe related to CE 1.9 EE 1.13 updates.. I don't know! What I know is they provided no service or support at all.
I contacted customer support and received links to FAQ pages I already had. We have other modules by them, but it's the first time I get a terrible service (no service at all in fact).
Any hints or just a very basic support would have helped us. We're looking for a module from an other developer.

Highly Questionable Bugs
This is our order number #1400004393 :
We use magento 1.9 and have resorted to this extension as the demac extension has not been tested for 1.9. i have not tested the demac extension so dont take this as a negative review as an endorsement for them. I put an alternative solution at the bottom of the review for magento community merchants in need of canadapost shipping.
There are many bugs with this extension.
1- regular parcel cannot be added as free option. this is a clear bug as the same method to add free shipping can be applied to expedited shipping for example.
2- if shipment is put in manifest (before transmitting), they can be removed but with many error msgs. Then when the shipment is removed (before transmitting manifest), one will see that they are removed, but when the manifest is transmitted all the shipments that have been removed will transmit as well. this bug will create a process nightmare as you will pay for all the shipments that have been transmitted (in our case 30 extra shipments in one day).
3- shipping labels come out in random order effectively requiring a seperate process to match shipping labels to packing slips.
4- packing slips cannot be printed in the same place as the shipping labels, creating another process nightmare as each order needs to be checked and cross checked manually.
5- adding coverage option, which is what this extension claims to have on top of the demac extension makes the extension work inconsistently.
6- test mode does not work consistently, so trial runs have to be done in live mode to ensure all is set correctly.
7- If you click anything more than 10 shipping labels at a time to be printed (in our case in one day 70) it will not print all checked labels ( in our case 52). this number is not consistent either as everytime the print option is pressed another number of pages are printed. This is unfeasable for any process in any business.
The worst of all is that the company takes about 48-72 hours on average to reply to an email. until today we have brough many of these bugs to their attention with long emails and screen shots and in some cases logs, but generally we do not receive more than one line back that will not take more than a few mintues. there is no customer appreciation, initiative or service.
Please note we have dealt with aheadworks, schogini and some other companies based in eastern europe and idia that are much more responsive so this is not the norm.
This extension has not been tested to work in a business process and is therefore more of a beta in our opinion. It is disappointing however that it is listed here on magento connect.
I would highly recommend that any magento community merchant use matrix rates in combination with order cup and stay away from this extension as it will waste your time.
Thank you for your attention and I hope this review was useful.

Great module with great support
I installed the module and had few issues with the configuration, opened cases with their support and we have finally solved the issues.
That is what I want when I buy a third party module.
I recommend it without a doubt.

It was easy to install, but we encountered some problems running it.
Talked to the customer support and they found that it was a problem on our Canada Post account.
They offer a great customer support service.

Magento ver. 126.96.36.199
Installed smoothly without the instructions. I should have read the instructions because this caused an error that they later helped solve a couple days later. Result? Another client is now pleased with this extension - so I am happy too. More than a few of our clients are now using this extension. One client pushed $1M through the older version of this extension without issue. Our shop has no problem recommending, installing and/or supporting the Canada Post extensions by Collins Harper. They are 'The Boss' when it comes to Canada Post & Magento integration.
