Overview

My Abandoned Carts

Millions are spent on marketing and advertising to increase sales. But less than a few thousand are spent on converting those who have gotten as far as to add a product to their carts..

This is the idea behind a simple, free, and intelligent extension from Anatta Design that lets you analyze why people are leaving your checkout process. We do that by accurately determining where people are leaving your checkout funnel.

What's so different between this widget and what Magento provides by default? Everything.

1. Our data collection starts at the point of a user entering the checkout process vs. when the user adds a product to their cart
2. We are able to accurately tell the difference between return visitors and new users so as to not duplicate data or miss users who are not logged in.
3. We improved accuracy even more in data tracking (in case of cart merges).
4. Tracking exclusion feature (admin side logins exclude your checkouts to be tracked and doesn't pollute real data of the customers)
5. We ensure that the same visitor who abandons again doesn't get counted twice as we're tracking individual abandonments

Literally does nothing? Installed as per instructions, tested on 1.5.1 and 1.7 and nothing has changed! No new menu options, no configuration. What's going on? January 3, 2013

How does this work?

I installed this Logged off and back in and I cant find any menu to access this anywhere? Where do you go to pull up the information?

You can access this module under dashboard...on the right side panel...you can see 3 tabs. Orders, amounts, abandon carts

Hey nohart,

To make the extension work, you will have to clear your cache which can be done by going to Magento admin > System > Cache Management. On that page, hit "Flush Magento Cache" button. And if you also have compilation mode enabled on your magento install, then you would have to recompile it too, by going to Magento admin > System > Tools > Compilation. On that page, hit "Run Compilation Process".

Please be sure to do this on off-peak hours if you get good amount of traffic.

Hi,

In magento, compilation mode can be accessed from admin by going to System > Tools > Compilation.

If compilation mode is on, then you will have to recompile it again to complete the extension's installation. To do so, just click on "Run compilation process" button. Alternatively it can also be run from command-line by the following command from your magento root "php -f shell/compiler.php compile"

Really interested in this module - but cannot get it to work.

I have followed the post instructions flushing cache, running the compiler, logged out, logged in, rebooted the server still nothing.
