Core to Running Our business
We use Brightpearl to run our multi-channel business with three shops and a web site. As an integrated system it is excellent. We use it for stock control, accounting, buying and sales processing. It's simple to use and the support is very good although it can be a little slow on more complex queries.
The integration with Magento is reliable and will be even better if they ever add functionality to create Magento configurable products from within Brightpearl.
New useful features get added with every update.
I'd definitely recommend it.

One of the best I've used
have tried quite a few different system for on-line sales and this is the best I've used so far. Linking to Amazon and Ebay is simplified and the additional add-ons available for managing things such as payments and postage makes life a lot easier.

Excellent multi channel
We researched a lot of multi-channel software before settling on Brightpearl and we're glad we did.
The cost may be a bit much for some businesses, but if you need to be able to consolidate your orders, customers and leads in one place this is an excellent piece of software.
Like any evolving platform there are some niggles, but Brightpearl say they are investing heavily in improving the system, and since we started using it we've aalready seen great strides taken in terms of page load times and stability.
When we acquired another business, Brightpearl also allowed us to integrate their online and offline sales into our business with minimal fuss. Without BP that would have been a nightmare.
All in all a top product.

Easy multi-channel system with an intuitive UI
I have been using Brighpearl over 1 year now. It is more simpler than systems which I used before. I don't waste my time for dealing with the orders as I used to. Stock updating between channels works unbelievably well, it is very important if you have more than 2000 skus. The new smartphone app is very handy for me, I like to keep finger on the pulse especially when I am on the move. One of the biggest advantages is the user friendly UI (anyone can learn very fast how to use the system) and the accounting package( saves a lot of time and money!).

Brightpearl terms and conditions don't take any kind of responsibility of their bugs.
They force you to use their accounting software which means if they go down you go down!
They said they provide a kind of back up but actually this needs to be proven how.
They don't provide a full RMA as they promised and also they advise you to get third party firms which are NOT Magento approved.
After several conversation I strongly suggest to see other extensions in Magento.
If I can suggest a good ERP solution might be the best things to approach which means you will have your current Accounting software and get a separate solution for managing Amazon, Ebay etc. orders through a good Magento ERP solutions:

Essential for growing businesses!
I am writing a follow up review to my negative review a few months back.
Brightpearl have addressed my issues and I am now successfully using their system for order processing, accounting, stock control and purchasing.
Integrating with magento is very easy.
There are improvements to the magento integration that would be welcomed but it works well as it is.
Overall I am happy to be using brightpearl and would recommend the software.

The best I have used!
Having used a few different systems over the past 10 years (Netsuite, Actinic/Sage) coming to BP has been a breath of fresh air. The system is very easy to use, has great functionality, looks good and does what it says it does (unlike some others).
I love the fact that they update the software every couple of weeks and its not just small updates which is great. Things like the Amazon connector have been a godsend and as it works with multiple Amazon channels, .com, .co.uk etc as well as linking to multiple ebay and magento stores, it is fantastic to finally have a system that updates multiple channels effectively.
To top it all off the support is first class. Bugs, which as far as I've seen are rare, are fixed quickly and support cases are answered within an hour and usually solved within 24hrs. Well done BP team.
It certainly works for us, we have plenty of scope to grow and I personally would wholeheartedly recommend Brightpearl

Stock control that grows your business!
Brightpearl allows us manage several areas of our business from one central place making us more efficient.
Generally we’re more organised as a business. Brightpearl is easy to use, clean and intuitive. The responsive system helps us manage our inventory, purchase orders, customer data and a key strength for us - our accounting. Being able to see a live profit and loss statement of the business on a daily basis is amazing, it’s very useful for making business decisions.
Brightpearl has allowed us to grow our business even further over the past two years. It’s a great investment for us. We save about £10,000 a year just on accountant fee’s. Brightpearl is a powerful multi-channel e-commerce software with in-depth and real-time accounting and reporting functionality.
Brightpearl has helped us keep track of orders which in turn helps us keep our customers informed and updated. Our customer service has improved, we now see a 98% positive feedback score from our customers.
We now have more time to spend buying and sourcing new products for the business. We can look for the best products at the most reasonable prices. All our business processes are well organized and streamlined. Particularly our purchase orders and VAT returns which were time consuming and painful areas of the business before. Life is simply, less complicated.

Solid Package for Young Company
Highly recommend if you're a young company just starting out and need 1 package to do it all. Super reliable. I have very very rarely I run into a problem accessing the cloud. Giving a 4 only due to lack of integration with Magneto custom fields, which was really important for us.
Robust - Inventory mgmt, CRM, & acct.
Implementation - simple & plays well with Magento and ShipStation. Setting it up is simple
Guides & Support - Support guides actually answer questions you have. Support is responsive
You can't customize everything, which in the end is fine. We had issues with importing custom fields from Magento. The ability exists but our checkout is customized to the point where it doesn't really work for us even with the new feature.
Like other reviewers have written, there will be things that can be frustrating with how it works but I would imagine that will be the case with any package...

Magneto Community users BEWARE!
I am writing this brief Brightpearl review for potential Magento Community users who are considering using this magento order processing software.
I have been using the system since June 2013.
They have not given me one example of how a magento community user is using their system.
The order processing workflow is a nightmare!
Their is no way to differentiate between orders that have been paid and orders that are not paid.
I think the problem is that brightpearl downloads orders before magento gets a response from payment gateway resulting in it downloading abandoned orders and attempted orders
The only way to process an order manually paste order references into your payment gateway to check if payment has been made.
This is awfully time consuming and not suitable for a business with more than 20 sales per day.
The only good thing about this software when used as magento order processing system is the accounting, stock control and Purchase order features.
Brightpearl do not go out of their way to help you resolve important issues.
I have been struggling through this software since middle of June 2013 and have yet to been given an acceptable solution.
If you have a large database of a 1000 skus or more then you should seriously think hard before signing up!
After spending £3k on implementation services and roughly £300 per month to use the system I expect alot more help than this!
I am incredibly frustrated and would not recommend the software to anyone who is a magento community or enterprise user.
Hopefully brightpearl will resolve my situation.
