Google Trusted Stores
A few references for feeds:
cron setup : Please refer to this article to be sure cron is configured properly on your servers and in the appropriate folders : http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/1_-_installation_and_configuration/how_to_setup_a_cron_job#magento_and_crontab
Permissions : As stated previously, make sure your 'var' and 'var/tmp' folder are set to 777 permissions. You will find this folder in 'XXXX/var/tmp' where XXX is the Magento root folder and NOT the server root folder

New solution! Using Efficient Order Export from Amasty.com, I set up export profiles to generate both data feed files with only the needed attributes. I used the built-in third-party data export function to get tracking number and tracking provider. In the profile, I had to update the date format to just use "Y-m-d". Then I set up Google Merchant Data Feeds to fetch these csv files on a schedule (have to modify settings to "Use Quoted Fields").

Man this process is not simple. I managed to install the extension but the data feeds are not being generated. I read about two cron jobs that need to be running, and I had one manually set up but can't find details about this second cron job. All other tasks are completed, but I don't even see the order cancelation and order shipment data feed documents in Magento. A step by step for manually setting up those cron jobs and getting those files generated would be really helpful.

I got mine to send to google, but it is not pulling the order id: "Missing required attribute: order id"
Also, Is there a way to specify UPS or USPS instead of OTHER?

Greetings. Installed the extension on Magento Community 184.108.40.206 and on a restricted profile when we select the menu option Sales > Orders we get the following error
Fatal error: Call to a member function setAdditionalActionBlock() on a non-object in /var/www/vhosts/<site>.com/httpdocs/app/code/core/Mage/GoogleTrustedStore/Model/Observer.php on line 163
Any suggestions to fix this error?

I already managed to see the cronjobs using a magento extension, I was able to test the validation code, it doesnt show errors, just warnings, but this is because of the implementation of the extension didnt include those values when rendering the HTML.
I can generated the feeds manually using the extension, and upload them, both jobs work fine. However they are not being generated automatically as it should do. I have no idea how to resolve that.

This extension looks great, but I installed it manually and noticed the phtml code was added to the base and the php files were added to the core. Why was this done?
Am I to assumed this will become part of the next Magento release?

If this helps anyone, I finally got my cron.php job to generate the feeds by first manually creating the "datafeedsname.txt" files within var/tmp after I manually created them it seems like then my cron job continued to produce them, and they are now being generated and uploaded.
