Instructions- Create a backup of your Magento store. If possible, install in a testing environment before porting the code live.
- Clear your Magento cache
- Re-login to the Magento backend
- Edit index.php. After the ?php tag, insert: include('ezzoom.php');
- Edit app/design/frontend/base/default/layout/ezzoom.xml. Remove all unneeded blocks from ezzoom_hole_fill handle. Removing blocks referenced by other active blocks can cause exceptions. Proceed with caution, but streamline the default handle as much as possible, down to only the blocks you a hole-punching
- Please ensure the directory var/zoom is writable
- If you use our category URL rewrites, adjust your robots.txt file to exclude any redundant URLs
- Apache Only: If hole-filling is not working, try adding the following to .htaccess

RewriteRule .* index.php [L]

Unfortunately my product page doesn't load left sidebar when I enable block html output cacheing. I already tried the fix from github where you had to out comment code in HoleController.php. Love its open source. benchmarks so far: Magento standard => 7 Sec First Load, 3 Sec Repeat Other caches => 1.5-2 Sec First Load, 0.5 Sec Repeat Zoom cache => 3 Sec First Load, 1.5 Sec Repeat It seems generation time is the biggest slowdown. Gen time for zoom is around 0.4 secs. Dynamic Block Loading set up by default! Recommended for cheaper projects. Sadly...Does not have any minify/combine function. Great work tho!
