PERFORMANCE Hi, in our webstore shirtsofholland.com and baleinen.com we had to disable the Ebizmarts_MageMonkey extension because of peformance problems The last step in our checkout process increased from 3 secs to over 2 minutes (waiting time). We had multiple (kind) customers contacting us that they were abandoning the checkout process because after clikcing submit order they had the idea. Nothing was happening. The ISP debugged SQL, IO etc. But the problem lies in the extension April 19, 2012
I have Magento 1.6.2.0 and installed your most updated version. As I went to the configuration page I saw 404 error as mentioned in older post. I configured the permission roles then logged out and logged in and horrific event occurred. As I tried to log back in, the message "Access Denied" appeared and could not login no matter what I tried. Then I tried to uninstall this extension manually, and messed the whole system up and needed to restore the magento and database. I really like MailChimp so I hope you will be able to fix this problem in near future. April 17, 2012
I have Magento 1.6.2.0 and installed your previous version which caused my admin to stop from rendering the pages. After I removed that version I installed this latest 1.0.10 release. When I now log in I get an exception screen telling me: Unable to access Admin area after install. In report I get this error: Mage registry key "_singleton/monkey/observer" already exists April 10, 2012

Hi, Robert here from Blue Acorn. I installed version 1.0.2 of the extension on CE 1.4.1.1 (the only one that says its compatible with 1.4.1.1), and everything works fine except for some reason now most customer order confirmation emails are going into their spam/junk folder. When I CC myself (through the Magento admin) on the sales emails, those go into my spam folder as well. Any ideas why this may be happening? March 6, 2012
Module works very good with the pre-setup cronjobs. Did not notice that in the beginning, but after a very fast mail-conversation they explained it to me so i could sort it out. Great module and service! February 28, 2012

Works great... BUT... and I have no idea why. It breaks TinyMCE Wysiwyg "Insert Image" on CMS pages. You get a 404. Took about 9 hours to figure out that this plugin was causing the issue. So had to remove for now, will try again once it's fixed. Now I need to go glue my hair back on. February 18, 2012

Hi
with this integration to Magento, can a user edit his subscription profile directly from his magento account dashboard?
for example change his groups or edit his email or any other fields he filled in?

Hi Mon,

Yes, with this integration users can edit their profile and we automatically update this information on MailChimp.
They can edit email, firstname, lastname, groups and more info.

we installed the extension and we dont see option for the user to update his subscription profile directly from his magento account dashboard, is there a print screen i can see?

we also want to add a newsletter subscription form on our site with the embedded code from Mailchimp is that something we can do with this extension?

Hi,

I just upgraded the extension to the latest version 1.1.0 and somehow, the abandon cart feature is causing my frontend to load a blank page. However, the backend is okay.

After disabling the abandon cart feature manually via "false" in /app/etc/module, I am then able to access the frontend again.

Was wondering if anyone has the same experience?

I suggest you upgrade your Magento and install this extension. MailChimp Sync - Official, Full MailChimp Integration extension it's too old and we have deprecated and don't offer more support

you have more than one subscription form, you have the subscription in the footer which just have the field email, then you have one in My Account -> Newsletter Subscriptions also in the sign up form you can subscribe and also in the checkout.

Yes you can, you just have to click on the "Email Templates" link. Event the Mandrill block it's there when you roll over the "Email Templates" link you can still accessing to this section.

When I updated the extension and began the abandoned cart support the extension stopped sending the emails and when I disable Abandoned Cart extension I the extension started to send the emails the right way.

Is there something you know about this problem? Could you help me?

Check in our forum, we have a few posts about this incomaptibility. But it's not with the Abandoned Cart module it's with the Mandrill module.
You have to do a few edits in a file

Hi,

I was testing this feature that I think is really good, but the problem that I am seeing is that it tries to send the email via the Mandrill module that is also in this extension. The thing is that I use the SMTPPro extension and I want it to send the email. The Mandrill module is disabled via app/etc/modules/Ebizmarts_Mandrill.xml and it still tries to send via this module. Is there any help?

Hello apz2000,

The Abandoned Carts extensions is indeed exclusive for Mandrill users, but keep in mind that Mandrill is free for up to 12K emails/month. Take a look at Mandrill, it's a pretty solid MTA service with extended reporting features.

Where did my transactional email go? When I scroll to -> System -> Transactional emails all that shows up is -> Mandrill -> Senders when I click the link there are no Transactional emails to be seen?

The Transactional Emails are in the same link as always, the only difference it's that there are extra options in this link.
Just click on the Transactional Emails link and you will see all your transactional emails templates
