I also have an other problem. The option to Subscribe on Checkout doesn't seem to work for me. (Magento 1.6.1) The connection to MailChimp seem to be ok since I can subscribe a Magento customer from admin, or from the customer frontend login. But it doesn't work automaticly from the Checkout. The checkbox is there, it just doesn't subscribe. I also tried the aditional lists feature but it still wouldn't subscribe at checkout. And I also tried both 'yes' and 'no' for the double opt-in. No difference. April 23, 2012
This module doesn't seem to work with the Compliation active. The admin area crashes and gives error: "Mage registry key "_singleton/monkey/observer" already exists". April 23, 2012
PERFORMANCE Hi, in our webstore shirtsofholland.com and baleinen.com we had to disable the Ebizmarts_MageMonkey extension because of peformance problems The last step in our checkout process increased from 3 secs to over 2 minutes (waiting time). We had multiple (kind) customers contacting us that they were abandoning the checkout process because after clikcing submit order they had the idea. Nothing was happening. The ISP debugged SQL, IO etc. But the problem lies in the extension April 19, 2012
I have Magento 1.6.2.0 and installed your most updated version. As I went to the configuration page I saw 404 error as mentioned in older post. I configured the permission roles then logged out and logged in and horrific event occurred. As I tried to log back in, the message "Access Denied" appeared and could not login no matter what I tried. Then I tried to uninstall this extension manually, and messed the whole system up and needed to restore the magento and database. I really like MailChimp so I hope you will be able to fix this problem in near future. April 17, 2012

Hi
with this integration to Magento, can a user edit his subscription profile directly from his magento account dashboard?
for example change his groups or edit his email or any other fields he filled in?

Hi Mon,

Yes, with this integration users can edit their profile and we automatically update this information on MailChimp.
They can edit email, firstname, lastname, groups and more info.

we installed the extension and we dont see option for the user to update his subscription profile directly from his magento account dashboard, is there a print screen i can see?

we also want to add a newsletter subscription form on our site with the embedded code from Mailchimp is that something we can do with this extension?

404 on Configuration

Hi

I just recently managed to install your extension. I love the reviews, and I was looking forward to using it on my store.

I stumbled upon 404 error when I wanted to configure the details when I go to settings --> configuration --> Mailchimp.

How do I resolve it?

Hi Noruyo,

You have to remove the Magento cache.
Logout from the admin and login again, after it you shouldn't see the error anymore

I've found that with all extensions you must log out of your Magento admin panel and log back in. Also, flush your cache.

Hello ebizmarts,

My problem is that with this extension only the new orders are sent to MailChimp. I have orders in Magento from before I had installed this extensions that I want in the customer section Ecommerce360 in MailChimp. So my idea is that all orders that are ever made in the store are sent as Ecommerce360 data to MailChimp. With this information I get an complete overview of my customers sales behavior.
Is it possible to export these old orders from Magento to the Ecommerce360 section in MailChimp?

Hi Rob,

The first you should do it's remove the Magento cache. then log out from the backend and log in again.
If still without work see in System -> Configuration -> Advanced if the Ebizmarts_MageMonkey it's enabled.
And finally you should check if you didn't disable the extension from the config file app/etc/modules/Ebizmarts_MageMonkey.xml

Hello,

I've got the same problem. After upgrading from v1.1.0 to 1.1.11 and then to v.1.1.12 in my Magento CE 1.4.2.0.

Nothing helps. At installing I've disabled output, disabled module itself, deactivated cache. After installing, I Logged in / Out, remove Cache files, activate all stuff ... nothing works ..

Any Idea?

I have set mailchimp on two stores in my multistore site. Sync appears to be working but when a subscriber susbcribes the confirm email isn't being received form mailchimp. Subscriber is staying in "unconfirmed" What else do i need setup?

Thanks for your question tblueweb,
It could be that subscription is rejected by MailChimp, since you've required fields that are not being sent (you'll find out in your var/log/MageMonkey_ApiCall.log file). So, MailChimp never sends the confirmation email, because actually no subscription occurs.

Check our wiki in FAQ/Troubleshooting section about this trouble (can't send you the link within this form).
Otherwise, please drop us a thread in our forum to back and forth and address this trouble.

Ok all figured out. I neglected to configure the "view" setup. The default level was configured correctly. The Website was enabled, the views for the stores were accessing teh same lists enabled at the default level. Once set for teh corresponding list for the store , all started behaving as expected.
Sorry for the false alarm. I now have some stores syncing with mailchimp, some not as intended on a multi website install. Yay.

When running the installer in magento connect it turns out this message:

CONNECT ERROR: Failed to open file /home/forge/estellecosmetics.nl/downloader/.cache/community/Ebizmarts_MageMonkey-1.1.21/app/design/adminhtml/default/default/template/ebizmarts/autoresponder/system/config/birthday/fieldse...

And no it's not my permissions installed quiete a few extensions already and everything is working fine with the other extentions.

A few Users experienced the same trouble while installing MageMonkey via Magento Connect.
I'd suggest that you download the package from our store. You'll get a direct download link to upload it via FTP.

Hi,

I just upgraded the extension to the latest version 1.1.0 and somehow, the abandon cart feature is causing my frontend to load a blank page. However, the backend is okay.

After disabling the abandon cart feature manually via "false" in /app/etc/module, I am then able to access the frontend again.

Was wondering if anyone has the same experience?

I suggest you upgrade your Magento and install this extension. MailChimp Sync - Official, Full MailChimp Integration extension it's too old and we have deprecated and don't offer more support

you have more than one subscription form, you have the subscription in the footer which just have the field email, then you have one in My Account -> Newsletter Subscriptions also in the sign up form you can subscribe and also in the checkout.
