If the order comments won't show in the backend, the statushistory is not filled (Magento version 184.108.40.206).
So go to app/code/community/Magemaven/OrderComment/Model/Oberserver.php and put this line after the "setCustomerNote"-Line:

Works exactly as advertised on 220.127.116.11 - thanks so much!
With a small amount of effort I was also able to customise the comment to be a drop-down list, which was exactly what I was looking for.

We have a problem: the showed comment on administration isn't the last comment. I found that the showed comment is managed into Collection.php:
But i'm not understanding how to show only the last commented status.
Can you help me?

EASY and FAST! I just installed it on 18.104.22.168. Works perfectly. I spent a full weekend of my life reading reviews and comments trying to pick a comment extension. Being new to Magento I am scared to mess up our store. I installed through MagentoConnect, and it just magically worked. If I can do it, anyone can. We now have a nice comment box at the order summary screen. I feel relieved to have found this working and professional extension. Thank you Magemaven.

Great extension! Works fine on 22.214.171.124 and uses standard techniques, so it is magento native! Thanks

Installed fine on 188.8.131.52, but paypal express payment method wouldn't work. When you press the place order button, nothing happens. No payment is posted with paypal, no order is created in magento. It just hangs. Offline options like payment by check works fine.

Simple and perfect!
I added these lines:
'header' =gt; Mage::helper('sales')-gt;__('Email'),
'index' =gt; 'customer_email',
to function _prepareColumns()
and these lines:
$this-gt;getSelect()-gt;columns(array('sfo.customer_email', 'sfo.created_at as created_at'));
$this-gt;getSelect()-gt;from('sales_flat_order AS sfo');
$this-gt;getSelect()-gt;where('sfo.entity_id = main_table.entity_id');
to function _initSelect() (in Collection.php)
and now it shows also customers' email addresses
