Canecom SHPO the Webstore Backend
IMPORTANT: This version works with Magento 1.3, 1.4 and 1.4.1 as well.Update note: version 1.09.1 has been released for Magento 1.4.1. While the app is working fine with the 1.08 version (until Magento 1.4), 1.09.1 version's order update process is way smoother and upgrading to this version is strongly advised. When you install new versions, please be sure that older versions are uninstalled first.
The SHPO extension is a tool to create the necessary files for the iPhone app/Android app SHPO by Canecom. SHPO takes your most important sales data from your Magento store's backend, directly to your phone or ipod. The app has order, customer and product informations. Setup instructions are included within the extension pack or here: http://canecom.com/shpo

Canecom SHPO the Webstore Backend 9 9Looks great, but.... Do not use with 1.5 July 29, 2011Don't bother buying the iPhone app that is used for this extensions. The "Mobile Dashboard" (25 Jan 2011) app is free and offers pretty much the same features. I bought the SHPO iphone app, but was disappointed when it didn't have some important functionality: - It does not display attributes of a configurable product. - There is no way to initiate emails or perform any backed functions. It is display only. If your web shop is made up- of configurable products, this app is almost useless, requiring you to sign into the back end to look at what was purchased. The app also has not been updated in 12 months (7 April 2010), which is a long time in the world of magento development. For the price ($12.99) and against the features of the free apps, this is iPhone app is not a great product. If they update the iPhone app and add new features, they might be able to justify the price. March 26, 2011I'm using Android version, it's ok. But Can I see the order Status ? or change it? In any case keep up the good work guys... June 1, 2010Yes, your cache wasn’t actually refreshed, you gotta refresh the Configuration cache in the Magento admin. April 14, 2010installed the extension Version 1.08 without any problem. refreshed the cache. i see that the extension is insalled with magento connect and its visible on the extension list, but the menu where i could access to this extension is not visible. logged out and in so that should not be an issue. any idea?
