    New Features:

  • Config switch for target enviroment
    Previously the gateway urls used to communicate with Barclaycard had to be configured by hand. The extension will now offer a simple select field for switching between production or test mode and also offers the option to enter custom gateway urls if necessary.
  • Resend payment informations
    As a merchant you now have the option to send an email to customers whose payments failed on Barclaycard side (status 0 or 2). The mail will contain a link to Barclaycard where the customer has the option to re-enter his payment details in order to recover the order. The Barclaycard extension offers customizable mail templates for this feature.
  • Generic payment model
    The extension now offers a new payment method that allows the customer to choose the payment method on Barclaycard side, basically enabling payments with payment methods that are not yet implemented in the extension itself.
  • Integration of China Union Pay
    The extension now offers the China Union Pay payment method in Magento.

  • Bugfixes:

  • Better handling of payments with 3DS cards
    Failed payments could result in the order in Magento getting stuck in payment review state in some configurations. This is now handled properly.
  • Improved state/status restriction model
    If using Authorization as payment action, the order state/status could not be updated manually anymore. This issue is now fixed.
  • OpenInvoiceDE has missing PM parameter
    Due to earlier refactoring, the payment method OpenInvoiceDE no longer transmitted a PM parameter, requiring the customer to choose the payment method on Barclaycard side again. The parameter will now be transmitted properly.
  • Missing order confirmation on bank transfer payments
    Under some circumstances the order confirmation for orders with bank transfer as payment method were not properly sent. The order confirmation will now always be sent.
  • Fix backend (MO/TO) orders in Enterprise Edition 1.12 and 1.13
    There was a problem with older Enterprise Editions that made backend orders fail on the first attempt (but being successful on the second try). This issue has been fixed.




  • Improvements:

  • enabled ACL settings for status update button
    Added proper ACL settings for the “Update payment status” button.
  • Improvements for OpenInvoiceDE payment method
    The payment method can now be configured to be enabled even with discounted carts and will transmit the additional data accordingly.
  • Order state restriction feature now toggleable
    The order state restriction feature can now be toggled off in the extension configuration, since it proved problematic for merchants with custom statuses.

    Improvements:

  • Improved handling of multiple orders with the same quote ID
    When using the same quote for more than one checkout, on rare occasions errors could occur. These are now prevented by a more strict handling.
  • Improved parameter validation
    On some configurations the validation could return a false negative due to address fields being customized (e.g. multiple street address lines or requirement changes on fields). These are now handled correctly.
  • Credit card handling with order ID as merchant reference
    There were problems with invoices generated too early, when using said merchant reference, these are now handled better.


  • Bugfixes:

  • Bank transfer payments canceled on automatic update
    On some configurations it could happen that bank transfer payments were canceled in Magento although they were actually paid.
  • Missing reference in creditmemo mails
    Due to the creditmemo mail being sent before the mail was actually saved, the creditmemo ID was not visible in the mail.
  • Fix rare checkout issue with Internet Explorer
    On rare Magento configurations the IE was unable to progress through the payment method step in checkout, when using inline credit card payments. This has now been solved.

Bugfixes:

  • - Checkout validation of address fields
    The Barclaycard platform defines restrictions on the parameter length of the address values. Those are now also enforced in the Magento checkout process, preventing the customer from entering values that that will cause the transactions to fail.
  • - Prevent invoice creation when in status 52
    When changing the Magento transaction status to 52, the invoice creation will no longer be triggered.
  • - Update of the brand parameters for DirectEbanking
    The extension now supports the updated brand parameter mapping for the different DirectEbanking payment methods.
  • - Improve handling on Backend Orders
    Sometimes the shipping methods could not be loaded due to a JavaScript error. This is now fixed.

    Sometimes the payment could fail because the response from the payment gateway was not processed properly. In this version better handling is implemented.
  • - Payment Method cleared when changing the order
    When a customer wants to change the payment method to be used for his order, the old payment method information is now cleared automatically before the new payment information is entered.

Bugfixes:

  • - Ip address transmission
    In exceptional cases, the IP address was not transmitted for inline credit card payments. This is fixed in this release.
  • - Barclaycard alias gateway request is made for non Barclaycard payments
    A request was sent to the Barclaycard alias gateway, even when a non Barclaycard payment method was used. Now the request is only sent when an Barclaycard payment method is used.

Magento Order Pending Hello, We recently installed your extension on our Magento site. After running the Barclay's back office through test mode and ensuring all settings are correct we decided to put it into 'production'. However, we are now facing an issue when customers have successfully purchased their order. The transaction goes through Barclay's back office and the customer gets redirected back to our shop. However in Magento, the order is still classed as pending. We raised a support ticket with Barclay's and this is the response we had; - reply added by Support\ePDQ at 2015-05-11 10:22:42 : Good morning, Thank you for your ticket. I have reviewed your account and it appears to be configured correctly to allow transaction feedback to be sent. Example below for PAYID 1442831684. INTERMEDIATE REDIRECTION Date: 5/8/2015 12:12:01 PM INTERMEDIATE REDIRECTION INTERMEDIATE REDIRECTION PAGE TO at 12:12:01 PM : http://www.domainname.co.uk/ops/payment/accept/?orderID=&**Removed** The above coding confirms the payment was successful and a message was sent back to http://www.domainname.co.uk/ops/payment/accept/?orderID=**Removed** . To confirm ePDQ is sending transaction feedback, however I am aware that there is a Magento plugin (open source/the free plugin), does not accept the feedback so all payments appear to be pending. If this is the case, you are using the free magento plugin, you will need to contact Magento and advise there is still an issue, you can use the above coding (intermediate redirection) as proof that a response was sent from ePDQ. Pending Payment We have installed and configured the extension properly and its working fine. Why customer is not redirected back to the website.? Dear Friend, I try this module. but this module not work for redirect function. After completed the payment. Great extension The document is quite helpful, and it has no error after installed. And all work as it says. But there is only one issue, once the order is placed and passed payment request to Barclay, in margento back-end it always says "Pending Payment" even if the status is 9 in Barclay backend. Is there a place for notification URL which could let barclay notify server once the card is processed. Just wonder if it should be in "Direct HTTP server-to-server request", and what's the URL? Should that be http://www.domain.com/ops/api/postBack? Tried above postBack URL in browser, it drops an error on magento. May 16, 2014
Excellent Extension, EPDQ Essential worked as described. Thanks a lot for providing such a good documentation with which I was able to easily integrate my client's store with epdq essential. It worked as described in the documentation. Just one thing was missing in the feature; On using authorization, 'Capture Online' is not working when creating Invoice. Merchant will have to logon to epdq backoffice and capture data from there itself. It is specified in their documentation. Sale is working without the help of epdq backoffice. Thanks again! Magento Pending Payment Hi, we have implemented the module with no issues, However, Magento is creating an order pending payment in the backend each time place order is clicked in the checkout. And no payment details have been captured. We need it to not put an order in the backend till payment details have been captured. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks, March 12, 2014
Is this ligit? After installing there is no mention of Barclaycard in the configuration. It seems to be for a German company called Acceptance (acceptance.de) and the gateway is set to the domain secure.paytool.de which is not Barclaycard. All looks a bit suspect to me. November 20, 2012

Accidentially, a wrong package was uploaded. We apologize for this mistake. Version 12.12.11 (and following) contains the correct package.

Dear subhomalik,

you can configure the emails in two places:

in the Barclaycard-backend, go to "Technical information -> Transactional E-Mails". There you can enable the mails sent by Barclaycard to the customer.

In Magento, go to "System -> Configuration -> Sales -> Sales E-Mails". Here you can setup which mails should be sent from your Magento shop.

This should work in test-mode as well as live-mode. If you need further assistance, please contact the Barclaycard support team.

Hi there Thanks for ur support.It works.
But i got 1 prob.
when i click on Back OR Cancel Button,Order is placed in Magento admin Order List.Becaz Order is placing in checkout page before even going to
"https://payments.epdq.co.uk/ncol/prod/orderstandard_utf8.asp" Page.
OR What if customer close browser on this page before payment complete.
Wht should i do?

in these cases you will have to cancel the order manually. You will get a promt, if you are sure since transaction feedback will no longer be received for this order and changes to status can no longer be made.

Hi,

First of all thank you very much for this great extension, I really appreciate it.

I have been doing test orders and I have had a problem. I am using epdq essential. I was trying to postBack using the POST method as your guide shows. When I do this everything gets processed correctly but when all the redirects are finshed I end up to an Empty Cart.

After changing the settings to GET on barclays I was able to get my order confirmation.

Do you have any idea why that is? Is it OK if I use GET?

Hi, we have implemented the module with no issues,

However,

Magento is creating an order pending payment in the backend each time place order is clicked in the checkout. And no payment details have been captured.

We need it to not put an order in the backend till payment details have been captured.

Is there a workaround for this?

Hello,
there are two possible causes for this issue:

1.) In the basic Barclaycard subscriptions (e.g. Essential), no feedback will be sent by the Barclaycard platform. In that case, you need to upgrade your subscription.

2.) The feedback doesn't reach the shop because of technical problems. Please see this article in our FAQ (it says "Ogone" but applies to Barclaycard as well): http://www.nr-apps.com/faq/content/41/252/en/why-is-the-payment-status-in-magento-not-updated.html

Can you confirm if the Online Capture for Authorised payments is working yet?

It keeps coming back with the following:

"The data you entered is not correct. Please retry."

"The Invoice was not created. Barclaycard status: 0."

We're having to Capture Offline and process the payments manually at the moment, which is a bit of a pain :(

Hallo

the module supports online captures. However, you also need a Barclaycard subscription that supports this. In the basic subscriptions, the Barclaycard platform doesn't send any feedback to the Magento store, so you might have to upgrade here.

If you already have the correct subscription and the status is not updated in Magento, please contact our support team.

Order is placed and customer gets order confirmation email as well. Order does not complete at Magento back end and keeps showing Processing. Store owner gets two emails including error email showing below message. Status in 9. This is your bug? How to fix it? We are using Magento CE 1.9.1
