Would you like to offer your clients a possibility to pre-order certain items that are currently not available for immediate shipping? We are happy to present you the extension, which can meet all the above requirements. The Backorder extension from MagePlace lets you to show custom stock statusfor backordered and unavailable products.
The Backorder extension will display special notes and signs for grouped, configurable and bundle products that are available for backorder on your Magento website.
Another very useful feature – you can notify your customers of the product delivery date, as this extension has additional features such as Backorder Note and Backorder Thru Date. Use these attributes to inform your potential customers in detail about the estimated availability of the goods and services
The Magento Backorder extension can be applied to any product type. The extension can be used to displaycustom stock status for grouped, configurable and bundle products. It operates in category pages, product lists or product search results. Thanks to this solution your customers will know what is available for backorder at the moment. The "Stock Availability Status" label and the "Add to Cart" button are replaced by the Backorder extension on all Backorder products.
"Add to Cart" button and "Availability status" label can be configured at a simple product backorder page. As the customer modifies some product attributes the button & the Status label will be instantly changed – applicable only for configurable and bundle product types. The posts and inscriptions can be customized in Admin Panel.
Note! The extension will only work if your web store allows backorders. To allow backorders go to: Menu Settings -> Configuration -> Backorder -> Content Options. There choose“Yes” in all fields.
