AJAX Cart Pro allows customers to effortlessly add and remove products from your store without having to continuously click the "update" button. With each addition or deletion, only the shopping cart is refreshed. This immediate interaction allows users to continue shopping without waiting for pages to refresh. Best of all, it also works on the shopping cart and wishlist page, enabling deletions and additions without page reloads.
With the AJAX Cart Pro extension, when any native Magento product type to cart from the category page, your consumers are not redirected to the product page – they are offered to select item's options exactly from the pop-up confirmation dialog.

AJAX Cart Pro by aheadWorks 21 21Overall Good but Does Not Work with Not Required Options aheadWorks makes some great extensions and their support is good compared to others out there. However, there is a key component missing - if your custom options are set to Is Required = No, then it will not show up on the AJAX popup in category view. The response from aheadWorks support was to set required options to Is Required = Yes, but sometimes options should not be required. (example: __ Check here if you would like this item gift wrapped - $10.) So if you have custom options that are not required, customers will never even see it. February 23, 2012There is not a lot to say about this extension... as an AJAX enhancement like AJAX Cart Pro is a MUST HAVE for any site who wants to look modern and professional. And of course the functionality helps the customer by reducing clicks and screen refreshes. But what I will say is that AheadWorks has been great. A few issues have come up caused by ACP and other extensions not always getting along, and AW gets right on it and makes it work. Some issues were not related to ACP at all, but the fault of our system configs, but the support team helped out anyway. January 14, 2012- Q&A
