Diese Extension ermoeglicht es, Betraege anhand einer Leitwaehrung in verschiedene andere Waehrungen umzurechnen. Die zugrunde liegenden Wechselkurse werden tagesaktuell ueber eine XML-Schnittstelle der EZB (Europaeische Zentralbank) bezogen. Das Modul verwendet ein eigenes Template, so dass es unabhaengig von dem gewaehlten Theme verwendet werden kann. Es fuegt sich durch die layout.xml-Datei in die linke Spalte des Frontends ein.

Votum CurrencyConverter Module provides a currency converter offering the possibility to convert amounts between different currencies. The exchange rates are obtained via an XML interface of the ECB (European Central Bank). The currency converter is shown on the left column.
