Sage Pay Server API Payment extension allows you to perform Sage Pay transactions through the Magento one page checkout using a securely hosted form, for full PCI compliance and added security. All credit card details are Stored, Processed and Transmitted on Sage Pay’s secure server, ensuring maximum security and reducing the risk of credit card fraud. This extension also allows you to release, refund and cancel order transactions taken with this Sage Pay Server extension from within the Magento admin system, using the Magento native order functionality, through the SagePay Direct API.

This extension is fully integrated with the Magento one page checkout and is designed to work seamlessly with all the default themes shipped with Magento. There is not guarantee this extension will work with a modified Magento theme. This extension does not work with the multiple address checkout provided in Magento.

IMPORTANT!!!

Please take care when canceling orders in Magento. If an order is cancelled in Magento that hasn't yet been invoiced, the transaction to be refunded in Sage Pay. If an invoice has been created and the payment taken then you will still need to perform a credit memo in Magento after cancelling the order.

Partially releasing a deferred transaction is not supported by this extension, however partial refunds are fully supported.

SETUP

Admin > System > Configuration > Sage Pay Settings > Account Details

Enter your vendor details. All your vendor details must be entered to use the full functionality of this extension.

Admin > System > Configuration > Sage Pay Settings > Orders

Set whether you wish to see orders pending Sage Pay payment and abandoned orders in the admin order list.

NOTE:

If you find that the Sage Pay Settings section is blank or says
'Access Denied' when first installed, try logging out and then
back in again. Alternatively, you will need to go to
Admin > System > Permissions > Roles, open the Administrators
role (or your current role) and click Save Role. This will add this
section to your roles permissions.

Enable the extension and configure to suit your needs, including payment action and payment modes.

USAGE

Release a transaction

When you invoice an order that has been placed using the deferred payment method, it will release the payment in Sage Pay.

Refund a transaction

When you credit memo an invoice it will either void the payment if applicable or refund the payment in Sage Pay if the payment has been taken. Performing a credit memo on the order and not the invoice itself will do nothing with the transaction in Sage Pay, therefore it is recommended that you credit memo the invoice.

Cancel a transaction

When you cancel an order in Magento it will either void the transaction or refund the transaction in Sage Pay if the payment has been taken. Be careful when canceling orders in Magento due to the possibility of a refund being performed in Sage Pay.

If you would like to change the style of the Sage Pay form used in the checkout, please use the following documentation and resources to do so. We also recommend that you turn off the form's address fields, which can be done in the My Sage Pay administration settings.
