Magentos default stock management is somewhat limited. You can only set the stock management to yes and no, and if set to yes, stock is reduced upon submitting an order.
Some situations require a more advanced solution.
This extension makes it possible to set whether stock should be reduced upon submitting an order, creating an invoice or creating a shipment.
