AccurateTax Tax Tools - Advanced version provides the capability for shoppers to have accurate sales tax calculated for their orders based on the storeowner's nexus. The module makes at least two calls per order - the first is to verify the shipping address and determine the zip+4 zipcode, the second call is for accurately determining the sales tax rate based on the zip+4 zipcode. The system is currently limited to only returning one scrubbed address, so for addresses that would return multiple addresses, the user entered address will be used, otherwise the scrubbed and verified address will be used for sales tax calculations. This allows the shopper to enter either a 5-digit and once scrubbed the zip+4 zipcode will then be used for determining the most accurate sales tax rates based on that data. This service does require the storeowner to sign up for a subscription; however, all Magento storeowners are provided with a 30-call test account to try the service out first.
