Payment Gateways: Payone.de
PAYONE is a leading payment service provider in Germany, offering a "Shop Module" plug-in to their Finance Gate system designed specifically for Magento. This article explains how to configure the PAYONE payment gateway for your Magento Go store.

Step 1: Open a PAYONE Merchant Account
The first step is to establish a PAYONE merchant account. As you go through the process, take note of the following information which you will need to complete the configuration in Magento Go:
- Merchant ID
- Payment Portal ID
- Payment Portal Key
- Sub Account ID
- Gateway URL

Step 2: Configure PAYONE for your store
- From the Admin panel of Magento Go, select System > Configuration > Payment Methods.
- On the Payment Methods tab, click to expand the PAYONE.de section. Then, do the following:
- Set Enabled to Yes.
- In the Title field, enter the name for this payment method that will appear to customers during the checkout process. By default, the Title is set to "Credit Card (PAYONE.de)."
- Enter the following information from your PAYONE merchant account:
- Merchant ID
- Payment Portal ID
- Payment Portal Key
- Sub Account ID
- Gateway URL
- Do one of the following:
- If you are ready to test the configuration and process test transactions, set Test Mode to Yes.
- When you are ready to "go live" with the PAYONE payment method, set Test Mode to No.
- To record the details of all exchanges between your Magento Go store and the PAYONE payment system in a log file, set Debug to Yes.
NOTE: In accordance with PCI Data Security Standards, no credit card information is saved in the log file.
- Set Payment Action to one of the following:
- Authorize Only: Authorizes the transaction but does not transfer money to your account.
- Authorize and Capture: Authorizes the transaction and also transfers money to your account.
- In the Credit Card Types list, select each credit card that can be used with this payment method. Options include: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, Switch/Maestro, Diners Club, Maestro International, and Carte Bleue.
- If you want to require customers to enter a card verification code (CVC), set Credit Card Verification to Yes.
- In the Accepted Currency list, select each currency that is accepted as payment in your store.
- In the Payment from Applicable Countries list, select each country where the PAYONE payment method is accepted.
- To determine the position of PAYONE in the list of payment methods that the customer sees during checkout, enter a number in the Sort Order field.
- When finished, click the Save Config button to save the settings.
