Managing Customer Reviews
Reviews can be added to products by customers by clicking the Add Your Review button or the Be the First to Add Review button.
Reviews that are submitted by customers on a Magento Go store must be reviewed by a moderator (the store owner or someone else with access to the Admin Panel). The customer reviews can be edited, approved, or rejected. This level of control ensures that abusive or otherwise useless reviews are not published.
To edit and approve customer reviews:
- In the Admin Panel, select Catalog > Reviews and Ratings > Customer Reviews > Pending Reviews.
- Select a pending review by clicking on its row. The Review Details page opens, with the contents of the selected review.
- From this page, the review can be viewed, edited for grammatical errors and inappropriate content, and approved. To approve a pending review, change the Status field from Pending to Approved. If you want to disapprove the Review, select Not Approved.
- Click the [Save Review] button to save your changes.
