Customers can write reviews for any product in your catalog by clicking a link on the product page. If the product already has been reviewed, there will be a “Write Your Own Review” section where the customer review it and give it a star rating. The number of stars indicates the satisfaction rating.
Visitors to your site can click the Review(s) link to read the reviews and write their own. When a review is submitted, it is sent for moderation. When approved, the review is published in your store.
To edit and approve customer reviews:
- On the Admin menu, select Catalog > Reviews and Ratings > Customer Reviews > Pending Reviews.
- In the list, click a pending review to view the details, and edit if necessary.
- To approve a pending review, change the Status from “Pending” to “Approved.” To reject a review, select “Not Approved.”
- When complete, click the Save Review button.
