Configuration: Payment Methods - Zero Subtotal Checkout

The Zero Subtotal Checkout section contains the settings required to configure the Zero Subtotal Checkout payment method for your Magento Go store.

Field Descriptions

Options Scope Description
Title Store View Identifies this payment method to customers during checkout. By default, the title is set to “No Payment Information Required.”
Enabled Website Activates this payment method when set to Yes.
New Order Status Website Sets the status of new orders to one of the following:
  • Pending: The order is pending approval and processing.
  • Processing: The order is being processed.

Automatically Invoice All Items Website If set to Yes, causes all items with a zero subtotal to be automatically invoiced.
Payment from Applicable Countries Website Identifies the countries where this payment method is available. Options include:
  • All Allowed Countries: Customers from all countries in the default countries list can use this payment method.
  • Specific Countries: Customers from only the countries selected in the Payment from Specific Countries list can use this payment method.

  • Note: You can define which countries are listed in the default list by modifying the Allowed Countries field in System > Configuration > Countries Options.

Payment from Specific Countries Website If Payment from Applicable Countries is set to Specific Countries, this list indicates the country, or countries, where this payment method can be used.
Sort Order Website Determines the sequence in which Zero Subtotal Checkout is listed with other payment methods during checkout. Payment methods appear in ascending order, based on this numeric value.
