Configuration: General - Store Email Addresses
Magento Go allows you to maintain multiple email addresses for your store, according to role. Use this section to complete the email addresses as appropriate for your store. Any unused fields can be left blank.
Setting the Configuration Scope
Before you continue, make sure to set the correct configuration scope, if necessary. The field descriptions in the tables below identify the scope level for each setting. For more information, see: Understanding Store Scope.
Store Email Addresses
For your convenience, in the Store Email Addresses tab are three default administrative roles as well as two custom roles. These fields can be assigned sender names and email addresses or left blank.
|General Contact||Your store's primary representative.|
|Sales Representative||Your store's representative in charge of sales.|
|Customer Support||Your store’s representative in charge of customer support.|
|Customer Email 1||Any other store representative.|
|Customer Email 2||Any other store representative.|
To enter a store email address:
- From the Admin panel, select System > Configuration > Store Email Addresses.
- Expand any or all of the contact role sections.
- In the Sender Name field, enter the name you would like to appear for this role or leave the field blank.
- In the Sender Email field, enter email address of the person responsible for that role or leave the field blank.
