The integration as I see it should be done through products too not just users. What I mean; Now that the JFusion is working quite well we should consider to made some “connections” from product tables to Joomla! content. The perfect example is VirtueMart and his productsnapshot plugin. In this way you can integrate a basic product info, plus link to the content. And it works vice versa too. A Joomla! content can be included in, for example: product description. Very useful think if you have a lot of product with the same content. You can write an article with a common content and include it through plugin to the product description ( plugin name: includecontentitem from http://www.kksu.com, read also http://www.kksou.com/php-gtk2/DirectPHP/402-ReInclude-Content-Item.php#402).

Just throwing in my 2cents - I know you’re looking for beta testers and I’ll be dancing on tables to try a Joomla! 1.5.x --> Magento 1.0 or 1.1 integration.

Personally would rather only use the user system within Magento and use Joomla! as a much needed CMS in place of the “static” Magento page system.

..I do like the way Magento organizes their templates/themes though..
