Alright, I added a good drop ship supplier to the list.  Some good money to be made with them.

I wouldn’t normally share my sources, but I’m probably going to use one or two off your list - so its only fair. smile

Thanks for this great list. I wish I had some to share.. but I don’t at the moment.

Let me ask a question… how do you guys determine how much to mark up a product?

No problem Hoodgrown.

Glad you like the list. I’ll keep adding to it as I find more. There are lots of good ones out there...most just aren’t willing to share. I’m trying to change that attitude a bit here.

As far as markup....

I started out by using a 50% margin (double cost) but found that I just wasn’t getting very many orders. Once I changed to a 33% (cost x 1.5) my orders went through the roof. Less profit for me but much more volume makes it worth it.

It really depends what you’re selling though. Some items (electronics for example) allow for much slimmer margins due to the ridiculous amount of competition out there.

The best way to figure out what works best in your situation is to keep testing until you find the right number.

thanks for the advice. in my past endeavors I never knew how much I was supposed to mark up the goods.
As far as sharing dropshippers.... I think that’s a great idea… although as you stated, I find most people guard this info a little too much… lol

Thanks for the list Ron.

I would love to share, but I’m just starting my first business selling online, so I don’t have any suppliers yet. I did buy a membership for OneSource at WorldWideBrands.com. So far I like it, but I can’t vouch for any of the suppliers yet.

I would also like to plug all the articles and videos at WorldWideBrands.com. There is a lot of good info there.
