    Hello john

We are working on a template/extensions and some customization on the data base level for a new online-store “powered by magento”. We’ll try to post on the wiki results.. smile

Many times there is spoken on the forum about performence, speed, etc. I have a few idea’s about what will increase speed and performence

I have my template completly stripped from comments and white space, which reduce a better speed.
Also javascript have to be compressed, and css.

CSS I know because I’m writing my own library for CSS which has many files and comments if I compress it, it really faster.

Maybe Magento developers can write a compressing system for CSS and Javascript.

I was thinking about to post this in the forum, but not sure if I’m correct. Also my english is not very well, hehehe.

    Greetz,
    John
