Using Datafeeds - Time for a Real-World Example

Victories so far:
1) Can now download a file via HTTP and save it to be parsed.
2) Can parse some (still some issues) of the data to create the products.

Well, Magento data flow has been a HUGE disappointment for me.
It looks to me like it was released way too soon to be useful in the real world. There are just too many people having trouble with it and too few devs that even bother to answer questions that are posted.
Hopefully the next version will include something that will actually work the way it should.
